Can a transferee bank points?

I'm sure this info is on this Board somewhere, but I can't find it. I have 100 BWV points with a 10/08 use year. I will have to bank them or rent/transfer them. My question: If I transfer them, will the transferee be able to bank them or will they have to be used by 9.30.09? Thanks. Gary

They will be able to bank them. They should be banked by the end of May, as per your banking deadline, although occasionally MS has not paid attention to the proper banking deadline.

Transferred points can be banked, banked points can not be transferred.
