Can a PTR be therapeutic?YUP!!Addictive?**2/14-I'm home...**

50 more days......

I started this PTR 109 days ago. Thanks to all who have stuck it out for the last 3 or so months. I'm also glad that people are still willing to hop on board. :thumbsup2 As some of you know I'm trying not to get sick so I'm supposed to be "resting". :rolleyes1 However, I'm getting my crack fix for today.

I am reflecting on how this PTR got started and really it came out of extreme grief and sorrow. The most painful loss this past year was the passing of my SIL, Gail. Her loss still impacts me daily as she was a great listener and friend.
This a picture of Gail and me at my aunt and uncle's 50th wedding anniversary in 2005.(I guess it was 2004 as the time stamp says so...:rolleyes1 )

I have to thank each and every one of you for your part in my healing. If it weren't for some of the hilarious PTR/TRs that I read or the encouraging responses from many of you or the prompting to take the Binder on road trips, my healing would've taken so much longer.

Okay.....now on to happier things........

So, of course the closer it gets to our trip, the more excited I get:woohoo: :woohoo: .

Here are the latest updates as of 1:12pm PST:

  1. The trip is paid in full
  2. Wendy and Derek paid for the last 2 nights at POP
  3. I think I'm getting a new digital camera for Xmas

Not much of a list, but getting me amped up.

I will probably update my itinerary on here as well. I looked the last one I posted and it is way out of date........Okay gotta go "rest".

To be continued.........

Jordan, sorry to hear that you are under the weather. Reading PTR/TR is resting as long as you are doing it on a laptop in bed. Get better soon!

edited to add--*It looks like we were posting close to the same time.*

How could we not stick with you? Your PTR is funny!

Just saying hi jordan, hope your week is going good.

It is...so far...looks like you're pretty busy....

Desia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm actually laying on the couch "resting".

Good to hear from you. You're trip is less than a month away......:woohoo: :woohoo:

Yep really busy, and my birthday is tomorrow so that will make the rest of the week even busier.

But I see that you are, or might get a digital camera for christmas all right.

I told people that I had no idea what I wanted that i did not need anything to get me stuff for the baby.

Well now that I think of stuff, it is to late, most everyone said, nope we got your stuff already.
:headache: Should have thought harder earlier.

Well now I want

An Ipod.

Surround sound, I told DW that since we got the 50 inch plasma I need to feel my butt rumble when action scenese are going on DVD's.

She told me it rumbles enough on its own.:rotfl2:

Gotta love her.

I also want a new digital camera, the one I am after is a 8mp Sony with a 3 inch LCD touch screen on the back.

My uncle has it and it even will play your photos back to music on the camera.
 Yeah I want one, but I gotta break mine first.
Oh and the camera has an automatic smile detection and when it detects the smile it will take a picture. I figure that is perfect for a baby right.:confused3

I think that will be what I use christmas money to get first...the others can wait till January.:thumbsup2

Either that or sell it on Ebay, just have not gotten around to it yet.

The woman who's directing the Christmas program w/ me has one of those Sony touch screens...the only thing I don't like about it..the screen gets dirty really fast...:confused3

I asked for a Canon ELPH SP750 7.1 MP Black. It's on sale everywhere. I don't really need anything fancy and this camera seems to be a nice mix between fancy and functional (which translates to "so easy that Jordan can use it").

I, too, would like an Ipod, but don't think that will happen until my b-day which is February......so not too long to wait........

I think itenerarys become outdated the second you put them in writing!

Desia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am getting so excited until I don't know what to do.:banana:

I am not finished with anything for this trip, but I just can't seem to make myself get up and get it done. I'll do it tomorrow! :rolleyes1

As far as digital cameras goes we JUST bought a new one! It's a samsung s1000 10.1 MP. It's really neat! it's my new toy weather DH likes it or not! We actually got it on ebay for about half retail price!!!

And if you are looking for a new ipod check out apple.com they have refurbs of the "classic" 80GB- I got one maybe 3 months ago and its perfect! I think we paid about $120 bucks. It comes with a warranty too!

Thats been my tech lesson for the day! Back to playing silly games for me.

Thats why you get a package of the PDA protector screens, and when it gets really bad, you just toss it and use another one.
:thumbsup2

so look for me here....:thumbsup2

Well there's the newest itinerary. You may notice that there is alot of unscheduled time. I do this to allow the non OCD planners a chance to do what they want. You bet that I'll have my time mapped out, but want to let the rest of the party to have their down time.....

Hey Jordan

Great updates... I have been sick since last night and was wondering how I got sick... now I know.. it was you! Thanks for getting me sick! hehehe

The only thing missing is a photo shoot with your peeps in various bathrooms.

I have strong germs.;)

Oh the challenges I receive..I'll have to balance the picture taking w/ my desire not to get banned from WDW for life or worse...arrested...

I'll have to remember to leave my semi automatic pistol, my knife and my scissors at home as well....;) (Grandma got arrested at WDW for carrying those items in her purse:eek: )Edit: Not my grandma, some other grandma...this arrest happened over the weekend.....

Your itinerary looks good! :thumbsup2

Personally for me, between Jiko and Flying Fish, I would choose FF, but if you are already eating there at a different time, a different place would probably be nice.

You're really doing a lot of babysitting! Go Jordan! :cheer2: :cheer2: It's so great you're helping everyone out like that.

My itineraries, when FINALISED look about as detailed as your current one for the whole crew. I am impressed! :worship:

Get well, and good luck when everything gets changed! ;)

Tell your adult friends if they see a bride hanging out at the GF during their dinner...its a Diser! Since, well, it seems like we might be hanging out at the GF for a bit before V&A at 5:30pm. I"m just hoping I get the pictures I want on the staircase.
