I am jealous, too. I could really use a MVMCP right now!! I'll have to settle for the Radio City Christmas Spectacular... I can't wait to take the kids! I haven't seen that show in about twenty years!

Do the kids in your church put on a Christmas pageant? Do you have to help out? You would make a great director!

I am helping w/ the Christmas program. Alot of work.......hopefully it will be worth it. The next few weeks will be pretty crazy....

Ok You are hilarious and amusing despite all the loss you have suffered! I def think Disney is the best therapy there is! I sure used it as therapy when I lost my mom and it did the trick! A Little escape to a happy place is just what sadness needs to help kicks it's butt!

We def need to try and at least cross paths while we are both there!!!

The last time I drank was at the beginning of November when I met a DIS friend at ESPN Zone.....

I'm definitely a social drinker. At hockey games, WDW, with old college friends--those are the places I am most likely to drink.

I certainly used to drink more, but I don't recover as nicely as I used to. So I limit my drinking to special occasions (does every Monday count as a special occasion? )

I had a get together w/ some of the College/Young Adults from our church. We watched all the college football games. I provided the beer...(just kidding, really). USC vs. UCLA being the one we were most interested in.

We work with the college / young adults at our church too. We meet every Sat. night at our house. It helps to keep us young.

Disney IS healing- I have proof of that! Not documented, of course, yet!
My DD10's Make Wish trip was just that -HEALING.

Your faith and positive attitude (celebrating their lives rather than prolonged mourning) have surely helped you through it. DIS also helps a whole lot, doesn't it? Going back a couple of posts....we are thinking of doing DCL in June or July 2009 too! Are there any weeks that we should be aware of? I know NOTHING about cruising. I need to head over and start reading, like NOW.

The prices and new itineraries came out yesterday. I was thinking June or Aug but to go in June it's $2000 more for us I'd rather go in Aug during our 10 year anniversary. I've never cruised before either but am really psyched about it!

4. The Aviaries in either Pangani Forest Trail or Maharajah Jungle Trek. I'm not into birds. I'm not particularly into animals. But put that card in my hand w/ all the bird pictures on it and I can't leave until I've seen most of them...... However, what it really does is gimme a break from commando touring....

Birds me no likey. The Dallas World Aquarium ( a must-see if you're in the Dallas area) has a three-story rainforest where the birds fly freely around. You know, Toucans are pretty big birds. I never realized how big they really are. Until, of course, I found myself washing toucan poop out of my hair in the ladies' room sink. On the plus side, if you get pooped on ,you get a free shirt that reads "I was a HIT at the Dallas World Aquarium." Frankly, I would have rather been a "miss." Of course, I still go back because it's the only place I know where you can get nose to nose (through the glass) with manatees.
