To both of your daughters!!

My DD is going too! May 13- Aug 25. Her package isn't here yet so haven't booked her flight yet. Though she is 22 I am thinking of taking her down to Orlando (anything to get in on it!!) I will miss her this summer but would do this myself in a NY minute if I could!!!

I am sure they'll all have a blast! My DD is going to be in Operations as that was her request due to being 3rd year in Engineering/Chemistry at Queens. She's hoping she gets on Haunted Mansion!

Hey Minnie56...congratulations as well!

We were also considering driving her down, but it became apparent that Disney is organizing the groups at the airport, picking them up and wisking them off to do paperwork, etc. I was hoping to go a few days earlier, but I think she would do better being part of the process from the get go.

My biggest worry is the fact that she's never flown commercial before. We were lucky enough to have her hook up with at least one other student who is now flying down on the same flight. I shopped the flight and found Southwest out of Buffalo to be the best rate. Also, by taking her to Buffalo, we will be with her at the border in case there's any problem. From that point on, it should be pretty straight forward because it will be a domestic flight.

We are planning to drive down and make a vacation out of it when it's time for her to come home. I never thought I would be going to WDW in August!

I have thought of going a few days prior too but it does sound as if they mostly arrive together and that is part of meeting everyone. My complication is that I am a TA and I can take her on Westjet for the same price as me but I have to travel with her....I will mull it over. Maybe use points...my DD has flown alone commercially so I know she'll be allright...I just am a worrier by nature!

We always go to WDW in August...it is H O T!!!!!!!!!!!! Lots of pool time!
