I am looking to rent a large amount of points for a future DVC stay. Do I need to rent all the points from one DVC owner, or can I use two separate owners to rent out portions of the trip, and have the 2nd DVC owner tell Member Services to link that 2nd ressie to the 1st ressie?

I do not want to have to change rooms during my stay.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I would stick with one owner if you can. Less chance of something going wrong.

Thanks Bill. I definitely agree. I just started my search today, and two DISboards DVC owners from the Rent/Trade board have already come back saying they have points for me in the large amount I need. So I'm glad it turned out to be a non-issue.

While renting from one member would certainly be easier, if you need a large number of points and can't find one member with the points you need it can still be done with multiple members. If that is done, both reservations would need to be linked by each member if they are in the same type villa at the same resort. Basically, both members would need agree to to make the same request.

If they are at different resorts, different villa type or different view it won't make much difference and they do not really need to be linked.

Thanks for the tip. Yep, same resort, same room/view type.
