Can a diaper bag go on a ride with me?

I guess it depends on how big your bag is. Many of the bigger rides have a pouch for you to put sunglasses/purses etc. in. I've put a bag under my legs on Tower of Terror and other rides.

I've also left my bag behind with a stroller, but do so at your own risk. One year I had my camera stolen. :(

Yes, you can. I carry my lil' ones diaper bags on all the rides we go on - I don't like to risk leaving it in the stroller.

I've been on every ride at DLR with a diaper bag as far as I can remember. :) Sometimes I have a camera bag AND a diaper bag, and I would never leave them behind on the stroller.

I have always left our diaper bag in the stroller but I bring my purse and camera with me, we have never had an issue with anything being taken on any of our trips, thankfully. And really I figure if someone steals my diaper bag, they must really need a diaper!

Same here! I bring a really basic diaper bag with diapering essentials in it and a smaller crossbody bag to hold my camera, phone, etc. I leave the diaper bag in the stroller and take the other bag with me and have never had a problem even when leaving the stroller unattended for extended periods of time. If someone were to steal the diaper bag I suppose it'd be a pain to have to go find a store and buy more diapers, but they're not getting anything that isn't easily replaceable.

I bring a smaller personal bag (Baggalini or purse backpack) with ONE diaper and the wipes travel case inside it (as well as camera, wallet, etc) and then leave a generic shopping bag (Target, grocery store) in the bottom of the stroller w/ more diapers.

This way I am not hauling around our full stock of diapers, and the bag of stuff in the bottom of the stroller looks unimportant (not in a Disney bag or even a diaper bag) and no one will be tempted to steal it.

I've never had a problem riding w/ my personal bag on any of the attractions.

Perfect, thanks for all of the replies!

I don't need diapers (youngest is 4 so we're past that stage) but I do have a LUG diaper bag that I'm taking because it's a great bag for hauling around. I wanted to be sure I could take it on the rides because I don't want to leave it in the stroller.

Now...next question...

What do you pack for your kids for a day at DL? I know the snack/drink part...but what do you take in terms of extra clothes and stuff for them?

We're going at the end of July

Thanks!

When we went during the summer, I made sure to always have a bottle of water, sprayable sunscreen and some wet wipes on me.

Please take your diaper bag with you.

I was shocked when my sisters and I were at Disneyland 3 weeks ago at the number of strollers left with diaper bags, purses, and souvenirs just sitting in them. In fact one stroller I saw parked in front of the Jungle Cruise had the camcorder just hanging off of the handle.

There have been quite a few threads recently about stroller theft and after seeing how many people just leave their stuff in their stroller I am not surprised in the least.

I take a pair of shorts for my lil' one to change into when it gets warmer in the day. I also take her hat, sunscreen, hand sanitizer and a mini fan.

I never would have thought about the mini fan, good tip!

I will take the bag...if I couldn't have taken it on the rides then I don't think I would have brought it at all--I'm trusting, but not THAT trusting. ;)
