Yes I took my daughter when she was 6 months old. If there isn't a height requirement she can go on. There are really a lot of attractions you can take him/her on. Go to the WDW website for attractions and you will be able to get a brief description and height requirement for every attraction.
We took ours at 6 months and rode pretty much everything without the height requirement, since he was sitting up pretty well. One word of warning, you'll want to hold on tight during the drops on Pirates of the Caribbean (and Malestrom, though that one is smaller)! Our son handled them fine but they are a bit nerve-wracking for the parents. Given how many rides they CAN go on, and then with the option of baby swap for parents on the rides they can't, Disney is a GREAT place to go with babies!
We took our daughter when she was seven months old. She rode everything with us that did not have a height restriction. I wore her front facing in a Baby Bjorn carrier. Much easier than dealing with a stroller and no tired arms.
Think of all the nice photos with the characters! That child will be amazed at 6 years old, when he/she sees the pictures from their trip (at 6 months) to MK with Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, A & E (?)etc etc. I like the idea.
I was wondering if that one had a height restriction! It's never been an issue because we took our daughter for the first time at age 2 and she was 34".
Yep. My youngest first went to the parks for the first time when she was 6 months old. She absolutely loved It's a Small World. All of the bright colors, patterns, and repetitive movements were mesmerizing for her and always brought out a huge smile.
