Can 7 year old ride alone?

Will be going back to WDW in the fall with my 7 year old, hubby is staying behind this time.

There’s a couple of small rides than I know she’ll want to go again, but I just can’t stomach them, they make me dizzy.

Specifically Dumbo, Tea Cups, Magic Carpets, the carousel and the alien saucers in HS. I’d be ok letting her go alone because I can still watch her, but would that be allowed?

No for so many obvious reasons … but mostly because what if she stood up ?

Once the castmember misunderstood me when I asked if my nephew could ride / drive the cars by himself because my other younger nephew in my car also wanted to drive… That was torture because we were in front and he was alone behind and not having strength or length in his legs to endure the entire “road-trip” pressing on gas pedal He held up the entire ride crying until a castmember figured out what was causing the congestion .
I don’t know who was more mistaken Me or the cast person …
A trip we both have trauma over still

Kids seven and older can ride alone as long as they meet the height requirement for the attraction.

Yes 7+ may ride attractions alone.
And with those being attractions that you can either wait in line with her and then exit as she gets tot he front or just wait outside of the line but be keeping an eye on her I see nothing wrong iwth it.

Children should be supervised. Guests under age 14 must be accompanied by a Guest age 14 or older to enter a theme park or water park. To board an attraction, children under age 7 must be accompanied by a person age 14 years or older.

Thanks, that’s what I was thinking. I wouldn’t let her ride anything else on her own. But those ones specifically I can see her, and she can see me the entire time. I just can’t do spinning rides like that, everything else is fine.

We were told by cast members during our last trip that 7 years old is the age at which kids can ride alone. This was specifically for Barnstormer, Dumbo, Carpets, and Teacups, though I'm sure this applies to many other rides; those are just the ones we asked about.

Mine did regularly. At 7 I'd put her in the line and go wait at the exit. By 8 she had land specific freedom. Ie I sat in one spot and she would tell me the 2 rides she would be riding. She would return right afterwards.
Funny thing. I trusted her alone but when she brought along a friend (or 2) I was on her like a hawk. Preteens can get collectively stupid and make poor decisions they would never make solo.

My 6 old wasnt interested in any of those rides. Too babyish for her. She loves guardians of the galaxy, sdmt, fop, space mountian and big thunder. You might find your 7 year old wants to go on more thrilling rides now that their older.

Since this child is 7 she can ride alone.

This will be me once my son is old enough. I hate spinning rides! Thankfully Dad can do most of the other rides with him, but we both draw the line at Teacups.

Also, FYI, Alien Swirling Saucers doesn't make me sick. It doesn't actually spin in a circle, just sort of flings you around in different directions, so it doesn't give me the same nausea as other spinning rides.

Alien got to me a little in September for some reason - not like the spinning rides but a bit of queasiness. My motion sickness is very random and specific haha. Astro Orbiter was the worst! Something about being so high up and spinning around, no thanks!

This is not correct. The answer is yes, the 7 year old is allowed to ride on their own according to Disney policy. The OP asked if it was allowed; the answer is yes.
