We are a family of 7. Our 5 kids ages from 17 to 5.
We noticed several 1 br villas but few 2 br
is it against all disney rules to have 7 in a 1 br
? Does anyone know? Thanks

DVC regs say that room occupancy limits for a 1 BR is 4 adults plus one child under 3 in a pack n play.

Do you mean you have 7 total in your family? Or do you have 7 kids for a total of 9 in your family?

You can get a Grand Villa, that sleeps 12. 2BR only sleep up to 8 adults plus the child under 3 in the Pack n play.

You might want to look at renting 3 studios if you are set on renting, if you indeed have 9 total to accomodate.

I found the answer for you on the disneyworld.com official website under resorts:

It states (in fine print):

"Studios and One-Bedroom Villas have a maximum four-person occupancy per room, plus one child under the age of 3. Two-Bedroom Villas have a maximum eight-person occupancy per room, plus one child under the age of 3."

Hope this helps!

you could rent 2 studios it would be less points than a 2 bedroom maybe 28 points sun - fri
