Can 2 reservations be made for dinner?

Can I make 1 dinner reservation for my 2 teenage sons and 1 for my husband and I? Seems like a silly question but I was not sure the dining reservation tool would let me book 2 at the same time of day. Hubby and I want a dinner for 2 to celebrate our 25th anniversary, but I would like to book a dinner reservation for my boys at another restaurant. Is it possible?

I don't see why you couldn't. You can book different fastpasses for parts of your group. But you may have to do it by phone with a CM.

When making an ADR it asks you who are the members of the party so I can't see why you can't do it in the manner you want. Still, the fact that you are asked who is the administrator of the account makes me wonder if the software takes your scenario into account.
I'd give it a try on some easy to get ressies eating venue and then cancel immediately after the experiment.
If it works just book at the eating establishment you want.
Doesn't? Call Disney's customer service and explain. Someone should be able to override the system if need be.

You will need to use two different MDE accounts to make two ADRs at the same time as it will automatically assign whoever the owner of the MDE account is as the administrator of th ADR and you can't be the administrator or two ADRs with overlapping time frames.

You actually don't need 2 MDE accounts as long as the FIRST reservation you make, you list someone else as the owner of that reservation. If you use your name for the first reservation, it won't let you make a second overlapping one. So, list yourself as the owner of the second reservation you make. It works.
