My dd is planning a senior trip to disney with 4 friends. They would like to book two rooms at one of the value resorts. Does anyone know if they can stay there without parent chaperones?
3 of the girls are 18 and 2 are 17.
Thanks

Disney considers those 18 and over to be an adult, and therefore do not need a chaperone.

The 18 year olds can chaperone the 17 year olds! LOL!

Son went with a team, and he brought me home the receipt. The room was in the name of the 18 year old in it with him, there was also another 18 and two 15 year olds.

Thanks everyone. I think I'd rather have them at Disney World for a senior trip than hanging out at the beach. There's too much to do in Disneyworld to get into trouble!

I too am planning a senior trip with my friends. We will book three rooms. However only two of us will be 18 at the time. Everyone else will be very close to 18, but 17 nonetheless. Will this be a problem when booking the third room even if we book it under my name. I will be 18.

I agree with you there, my sons class went to Cancun, glad he bought a truck so didn't go, the stories I heard about that senior trip. Disney is a great place for them to go, I know someones daughter that went for her class trip and the kids all had a ball. :D I'm sure your daughter and the classmates will have a ball. :D

Hmm, I'm just guessing here but I'd think if a parent can book an additional room for their children that an 18 year old should be able to book more than one room. Of course, to be sure you should call the CRO.

My daughter went to WDW with 4 friends her senior year and the stipulation was that there had to be at least one "18" year old in each room. And when I made the reservations for them, I had to list the names of each occupant and their ages.

They stayed at one of the All Star Resorts and had a great time! I also agree that what better place to go for a senior trip....there is so much to see and do that there isn't any time to get into trouble!

Enjoy your trip!
