Wow, Tracy, you always say the sweetest things, my dear friend! You certainly know how to touch my heart and inspire me.
I am really going to try to get back in gear. I guess, as it always has, journaling my food and counting points is really the thing I must do to make progress.
Food today:
B: coffee w/skim milk (1)
L: tomatoes & cucumbers (0); tomato & basil tortilla (1); homemade coleslaw (2)
S: LC panini (5)
D: eggbeaters w/turkey bacon & FF cheese on 2 lite MG english muffins (11.5)
-------------------
It's 4:20 and I've only had 4 points, mostly because I have had such a crazy day that I haven't had time to eat.
There are a lot of issues causing stress right now, including DH's MBA class schedule, DS's demanding school and band schedules and transportation issues, the fact that we are about to start a kitchen renovation that I am sure will not be done by Thanksgiving, my lack of motivation for getting my marathon training schedule on a calendar and underway, etc. etc.
None of that is an excuse for total lack of discipline with food, though, so I have to get myself in gear if I don't want to carry all these pounds 26.2 miles in 4 months.

At the doctor's office last night, I was 8.6 pounds away from the "decade" I really want to be in! 8.7 pounds seems like an awful lot to lose, but how amazing it would be to lose it before the Tower of Terror!

I squeezed in 2 miles at the gym tonight in 27:53, including warmup. Not as much jogging as I'd have liked and I was having technical difficulties with the TM that caused it to slow to .5 mph during the workout, causing me to lose time! UGH! Oh, well, still burned 217 calories, and every little bit helps.
It's nearly 11 pm and I am off to do crunches & pushups. Have to get to bed soon to get up early for bloodwork.
