Beth -- Thank you for your support-- it means so much to me to have you stop by to encourage me. I really feel like I am getting back into the groove of things, though it seems I don't have as much time as I'd like to plan meals, cook food ahead of time, and go to the gym. I am going to accept that this is real life and I'll have to make my new lifestyle work with the life schedule imposed on me by circumstances.
Julie -- Thank you so much for reminding me that all kinds of things influence WI. As you suspected and I failed to focus on, I think all the sodium I ate this weekend finally caught up with me and I had a lousy WI Tuesday a.m. But (even though I shouldn't have) I stepped on the scale this morning and it was back where it should be. I really think it evens out in the end, if you look at enough weeks in a row.
Yesterday was a pretty decent food day -- last night while I was waiting for Jenn at her Kaplan SAT course, there were all sorts of temptations in that college town, and I had 2.5 hours on my hands. I stopped at a coffee shop and had a skinny latte w/sweet n low, then went to a salad place and had a garden salad w/grilled chicken, fat free dressing, and a multi-grain roll. Delicious and a good, filling use of points. After that, I didn't go to TCBY, Dunkin Donuts or Baskin Robbins, but back to my car to sit and read.
Hoping to get to the gym tonight, but crazy schedule today and tomorrow, so I'll have to figure out a way to make that work.
