Campsite reservation for next year???

I just phoned Disney to make a campsite reservation for the summer of 2013 and I was told they only do them one year in advance. I know that's true for the resorts but I thought the campsites were different. Am I wrong?

I was curious to know if you tried again and were able to make reservations? I'm coming up on my 499 days to make some ressies for next year and wanted to know if something has changed?

Reservations were successfully made for August of 2013! Clearly the other CM I spoke with didn't realize that the camground was different from the resorts. Happy planning!

Thanks for the info and I'm glad I can make my ressies soon. I guess I thought all resorts {room only} were 499 days out and not just the campgrounds, but I guess that just makes the Fort that much more special.

Thanks so much! Next year should be great because we have a March and August trip planned with our new (to us) hybrid. We will no longer be in ther 2000 loop which will be a big change since we've never been anywhere else but there!
