We(me,dh and dd) are going in Jan 08. We camping there with our pop up. I was wondering how many campers do the DDP while they stay at FW. We are booked for 7 days with MYW base tickets with DDP. This will be our first time at FW. Has anyone else done the DDP? :yay: :grouphug: :dance3:

We go to WDW and stay at Ft. W. about once a year for a week. When I am at the World, I do not want to spend time in the RV...there are too many places to go, people to see and things to do. So, we do the Dining Plan and it works well for us. We enjoy sit down restaurants and do at least one a day. It really depends on where you want to spend your time/money. I would rather be in the parks/resorts. I can do chili/burgers/steaks, whatever in the RV if its in Pennsylvania just as easily as if it is in WDW.

We did the DDP for the first time last year, and love it. We will continue to use it, as we love dining with the characters. Nothing beats watching Chip (or is it Dale?) trying to steal some of my daughters food...! Goofy's Dinner @ Liberty Tree and Princess Bfast @ Akershus are our favs. We "saved" about $175 with the DDP. We follow a plan, with our ressies in the same park for each day (we don't park hop). It works extremely well for us, and we enjoy the great food. To us, the characters are part of what makes Disney magic - my girls love getting the autographs and talking with them over dinner. We will do a simple bfast in the camper, and lunch/dinner at the parks. There are no counter service meals offered at FW, but you can go over to Roaring Forks at WL..!

T-10 days..!

Well I have used the dining plan at POR but I haven't used it at FW but we are this DEC!!! I'm so excited! We went last year at Christmas and spent so much money on food (6 of us) that I decided DDP has to be cheaper so when we booked FW for Christmas this year I threw it in, We park hop cuz most of our ressies are at Epcot! So I personnally think the DDP is a great deal:love: ,(but we are planners) and I won't do DISNEY w/out it!:woohoo:

Me and my sisters did the DDP last year and our Table Service alone every night was over $150 (we went all out) Me and the DH and 4 kids are staying at FW in Dec. and I figured it up and we will save money by doing the dining plan (our kids are 13 on up.) I think it is a great deal I honestly don't see how Disney is making out! But I don't think I'll ever not do the DDP!:woohoo:
