Seilerbird, I do agree with you I think the price should be locked in. I love Disney and will pay what they ask, but I think when you book your rate it should stay that rate.
I'm glad you are enjoying your trip...
I also would prefer that a rate be locked in when you confirm a reservation but their policy, although somewhat heavy-handed, is clear enough.
I would actually prefer that they increase the deposit required to something much more substantial, this would be a good trade-off for locking the price. A second benefit of the deposit change would be fewer large block reservations and better availability.
