Campfire question

I'm hoping to attend the campfire for the first time towards the end of November. Can I drive my car to the area where it is held or do I have to take a bus? We'll be going on a carriage ride (leaving from Pioneer Hall) before the campfire starts. I'm assuming I can park near Pioneer Hall before the carriage ride, but I don't know if I'll be able to continue on in my car to the campfire location.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

No, you cannot. I think the only place you can park is in the overflow parking, but I'm not sure on that, but we just got back and I know for sure there was not any parking at the campfire. We walked from our site...

There is no parking at or near Pioneer hall. You must park in the overflow lot and take any of the colored bus lines to the Settlement area. Parking near the campfire is only for 15 minutes by the trading post and is only for FW registered guests for a quick stop for supplies - you would not be able to access this area with a vehicle unless you are staying at the campground. Again, for the campfire you must park in the overflow lot and take a bus.

Are you staying at FW? If you are driving into FW, parking is available at the front by the check in area. They really like to limit the amount of people in the campgrounds driving around. The buses run pretty quickly. If you don't know which bus to take just ask one of the bus drivers and they will help you. It is not a bad walk from Pioneer Hall to the campfire. I would say around 15-20 minutes. It is a relaxing and beautiful walk.

Don't forget to check the weather for that particular night. They cancel the carriage rides and movie for inclement weather. They still have the sing-a-long on the porch of the Meadows Trading Post.
