We are interested in doing the campfire/movie night at Ft. Wilderness, but we don't know any details.

Is this held every night? What time does the movie start? What time should we get there?--I assume the singalong is before the movie. Is the location well marked at Ft. Wilderness?

Any direction would be appreciated!

Our info from our stay in Oct. showed the sing a long starting at 8 p.m. and the movie at 8:40, but on Oct. 26th it switched to 7:00 and 7:40, I guess because of the time change. I'm assuming that it's still the earlier time right now, but someone can correct me if I'm wrong. You can get there right at time for it to start and still find a seat, just maybe not right up front.

It is held every night, and in case of bad weather they have a "Porch Jam" sing-a-long at the Meadow Swimming Pool.

Any of the internal campground buses stop at the Meadow Trading Post and Pool area, which is the area where it's held. It's very easy to find!

It's also fun to make s'mores around the campfire (you can purchase the s'more ingredients there or bring your own.)

Have a good trip! :sunny:

I heard that Chip and Dale are usually at the Camp Fire Sing along, is that true??

Chip and Dale appear every night during the sing along. They come around to all the seats for pictures, hugs and chocolate chip cookies (they want your cookies)
If you arrive a little before 7 the bench seats are usually available. They are a little more comfortable than the bleachers.
Be prepared to participate in the sing along.
Wish I was there right now !

Melika77... Sundee (One of the CM at the sing along) is a friend of ours, If you see her please tell her we said Hello.
Thanks

Hi Campers,

Fun to see that "The Parent Trap" is scheduled for Sat, 1/31. Wonder if it's the original Hayley Mills one or the remake. I guess they might be more likely to play the newer movies, and they're both adorable, but I think it'd be a tad more fun to see the older one on big screen!

Hey JT...when we've seen it there before it was the original Hayley Mills version. That's my personal favorite, and it is nice to see it on the big screen.
:D

Oh, cool Terri! Thanks so much for posting that you saw the original Parent Trap at the campfire movie. I do hope they'll show that one when we are there-- ::hyper:
