Good Point! I have to tell you - while deleting all my other entries - there are a few people that really laid into me. I certainly did not mean to create such a stir. I will make sure not to do it again!

Thanks again for all of your help! Do all of you go to Fort Wilderness often?? We just got back from camping this past weekend. The weather was so nice and the kids really had a great time.

Trust me if you do anything really wrong you will be visited in email by" The Gods That Be" ...I myself have been visited twice to the tune of 40 points for defending my baby dog...isn't he sweet who could possibly want to call my baby a mutt ?

It's whenever you get into a heated conversation with someone and you say something you shouldn't. They send you an email with points and whenever you reach 100 points your out.
I got in a heated conversation with someone on the community board over my dog of all things and I got points for it and it was worth it to me and I got points for a picture in my signature being to big, such is life...I would like to think of myself as a rebel now...hehe...living life on the edge..

Hi All! I just got back from taking my girls to gymnastics. This thread has really turned around - great news!!

I have never heard of points either, but I am sure I will receive some.

terri01p - I think your dog is adorable. It is a little insulting to call someone's dog a mutt.

YOUR NOT going to receive points or you would have already! No worries. I received mine straight away, and about my dog..it's not that she just called him a mutt but she said I would have been better off putting him down than having him because he's a mix breed cocker and poodle..he's a cockapoo...she just kept on and on calling him a mutt, and other folks kept chiming in which made it worse...just got to me for some reason...crazy. Usually I just don't go back to a thread that gets to me but that time I just felt I had to speak my mind or bust.

I have not been involved in too many of these threads. I just found this section today. I have been in the DVC rent/trade points before because I have rented points to stay at other resorts. I have not really run in to too many unpleasant people so far.

I would not like someone picking on my dogs either. We have a yellow lab and golden retriever. They both love the Fort Wilderness campgrounds. I really like that I can bring the dogs with me on vacation as opposed to leaving them at home. I also really like the new Best Friends kennel. They offer more services and more walks for the dogs when we are away at the parks.

Well, I personally call our small dog a mutt, but would not like anyone else to. She looks like a cross between a doberman and a chihuahua, maybe some lab in there too. She actually answers to "stupid mutt". Whenever you say it, she comes running with her tail wagging and tongue hanging out. Her attitude reminds me of Odie from Garfield. My bigger one is huge and reminds me more of Clint Eastwood, he has a "make my day" attitude. He is tenderhearted, but tends to scare people just with a simple look. He almost ate an intruder that was coming into our back door. Needless to say, the intruder closed the door and ran. Gibson, the big dog, was still slamming into the door trying to break the glass to get to him. I would have loved to see the look on the intruders face just as he jiggled the lock ont he patio door open and started to open it and then this 61lb dog comes charging at him teeth snarling looking like he was out for blood. It would have been priceless. BTW, Gibson is a shar pei/lab mix. He got the best of both breeds. He still tries to climb in my lap!!

As for beer, I am surprised Alabama and Mississippi don't have homebrewing legal.

As for the rum, remember, Elizabeth burned it to make a signal fire. I know you guys think the dream vacation is spending 3 days on the beach drinking rum.
