I currently use a Nikon Coolpix L3, it's slim and lightweight and takes great day pics but night pics are terrible. I need a cam that lets me adjust the ISO speed. I'm looking for a camera that is both slim/lightweight that takes both great day and night photos. Any recommendations?

It depends on your definition of great photos. If you are expecting to get dark photos like you see on many of the threads on here, then you cannot go with a small p&s camera. The high ISO noise from any p&s camera is not going to be very good. Also, the small cameras have small lenses that are not as good at gathering the needed light. If you are set on a small camera, look for one that allows manual controls of ISO, aperture, and shutter speed. Also, look for a larger than avg. sensor such as 1/1.6" instead of 1/2.5" which is the "standard".
