We ahve a Nikon D90 and last year it was a pain to have it's original case to carry around. I recall reading posts about top load bags, I think it was the Lowepro Topload Zoom, but I find 2 different ones at amazon, topload 1 and 2. Anyone know which one would work better or have a better suggestion?? We are going back to DL in November and I want to be better prepared this time :) Thanks!

We have the D60 with a new lens 18-200MM- looking for a new bag. Thanks for this post! Looks like a good one. After spending what we did on the Lens, I told DH we were getting a decent bag-LOL!

I just took a DSLR class and the instructor recomemnded an inexpensive way to carry your camera. He didn't like carrying camera bags because they are an easy target for theft. He said to buy some scrap pieces of thick foam to place around your camera in a regular backpack. I may try this as I like to carry my camera bag as well.

DH tried the backpack thing last summer, worked great but took too long to get it outta the backpack and I was worried about it getting damaged, we only had it wrapped with a jacket, foam might work great. I once saw a neoprene slip cover for it which looked great, now can't find it on amazon. So many cameras to carry, video camera, point and shoot, DSLR.... :)
