whew! lots of updates! i think you're right about wearing the mouse ears during the 1/2...can you imagine the looks people would give you if you wore them while training? although, i DID see pics of 3 men dressed as flamingo's during the 1/2 last year. i wonder if they practiced in their costumes?

they'll probably have crinnie's for you to try the dresses on with. who did you order from? the only reason i wore a hoop was because it wanted to keep all of that fabric off my legs. i took the first 2 hoops out as well, so only the bottom one was in!

I ordered it from an ebay seller called angelsbridalshop who had over 49,000 transactions and 100% positive feedback. I paid for it last night around 6pm and got a notice during the night that it was being shipped today. If it gets here by Friday, it will be remarkable, since it is coming from California, but it means a lot that the seller responded that quickly.

Well, in anticipation of my dress shopping this weekend, I have been faithfully NOT eating late at night and have been more disciplined about goign to the gym. I am still determined to lose 12 pounds before my May race and hopefully will be ready to order my dress soon after that.

The trunk show at the Demetrios salon that we are visiting this weekend is 2 weeks after that. I've made a list of the gowns I want to try this weekend, but it looks as if I'll have to wait for the trunk show to see "the one".

Oh, I have to tell you the sweetest thing he said this past weekend. He told me I smelled good and asked which perfume it was that day and I said "I used the pear blossom shower gel but I'm wearing Beautiful" and he said "I think I like Beautiful best of all on you." And I said "What? You actually remember the other perfumes I've worn?" And he said "Yep, I remember Red Door and Sunflowers and Anais Anais and Beautiful" He named several others that I can't even remember right now! I was so touched! And I told him so. Can you imagine that? He actually remembers every (or nearly every) perfume I've worn since we met (it's the earliest ones that I can't remember right now and he does!). That is more than 25 years worth of perfumes! Isn't that amazing? Isn't he just the sweetest? Oh, man, I think I just fell in love all over again just thinking about that conversation!

OMG!!! We got our planning package by email yesterday!!! I can't believe we have an appointment for our tasting and our planning session! I was literally in tears at my office looking at the paperwork with our names on it and our locations. It seems so real and yet like a fairy tale dream.

Work is so insane right now and we have weather issues today added a layer of complication to already crisis-level issues at work. UGH!! Haven't even had time to look at all the papers, but I'm excited about doing that this weekend when my friends are here for dress shopping.

Cam: I've had so much fun going through your journal, looking at the beautiful dresses you tried on (Howard was right--you make them beautiful), seeing pictures of your rings (which I hadn't noticed before) and generally reliving all the highs, lows, decision points and ideas you've had along the way.

Congrats on getting the planning package yesterday! I am sending lots of PD and WARM nay HOT thoughts that the snow lets up so Judy and Kathy can get there this weekend!!

Cam did in fact have Judy and Kathy visit her (us) this weekend and she did try on gowns at the Cherry Hill (NJ) Mall. She is swamped with work and will post soon.
