Does anyone remember this? They used to play the steel drums. I loved that sound and miss it very much! I remember it was still there on my honeymoon in May 1998.

Anyone know when it was discontinued?

Well, our first trip to MK was in Dec. of 2002 and we have never seen this since. So we've narrowed it down to between your trip in 1998 and ours in 2002!
