Calling Vs Faxing

What if you dont have access to a fax machine? Has anyone just called in their bldg request and still got what they requested?

I've never requested a bldg. before this visit, but am staying at CBR and requested 2 bldgs. over the phone. When I received our hotel vouchers, the request was on them. I don't think it matters of you call or fax just as long as the person you tell your request to actually makes a note of it. I'm hoping that we'll get our request honored. Good luck!

I called the room assignor at AKL one day before our stay. All requests were met. We even received a complimentary upgrade! I had called AKL a few days before arrival and asked if I should fax my requests or call them in. Then advised that I call them in. The advantage of speaking to the room assignor was that I knew based on her statements that all my requests would be met. The room assignor and all CMs at AKL bent over backwards to make our stay delightful.

I was wondering about this myself since I'm splitting my vacation between two resorts. I'll already be in Disney by the time I can start faxing AKL. It's good to know that I can just give them a call instead of asking someone at home to fax out my request (I worry that they might forget)
