Calling Room assigners

We leave in 10 days and I wanted to be able to call the room assigner at AKL to make a few requests! Does anyone have the number? Also is it better to call or fax? Should I go into detail as to why I am making requests (ie...traveling with an infant so I would like a quiet room)?

I would fax your requests in to AKL. I would do it no sooner than 5 days prior to your arrival. I posted a similar question when we stayed at the WL in Feb. I would include in your fax all of your requests (with in reason, of course). Example of what I asked for was a quiet room, near elevator, non smoking. They came through with flying colors for us, I couldn't have been more pleased. The fax number I have for the AKL is 407-938-7102. I will assume that this is still the current number. Anyone else reading this can correct me if I am wrong. Hope this helps.

I faxed my request to the AKL last year 3-days before our arrival and got the exact room we were looking for.
