So, crossing off the Birth Certificates leaves me only 183 things left on my vacation TO DO list!

LOL!! I've got to open up a suit case this weekend and start putting things in it! I've started fine tuning a specific list and piling stuff up, but I have soooo far to go!!

I just found these two pages on the Grand Cayman website. They tell about the hurricanes and say that the pages will be deleted soon. Interesting info. Some of the cruise ships went to Grand Cayman when the MAGIC did the MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR last week. I guess some people on the threads are annoyed about it, but the lady I correspond with was pleased with their cruise experience and said it just gives her another reason to take the Western Itinerary again.

Wow it seems most of you have started packing. I managed to finally drag our suitcases from the attic over the weekend. Only to find out that some of the pieces were covered with thick coats of sheetrock dust from our previous construction. I salvaged most of the newer pieces and trashed the older ones. Gave me an excuse to get more pieces of luggage with wheels! Now I just have to start filling them. The weather here in Jersey is starting to turn a little cooler so I think I can safely start packing the shorts and tank tops.

Oh one question (ok two), you know the booklets we received as part of our cruise docs? We arent supposed to return anything are we? We just fill the booklets out prior to checking in at the port? Geez wouldn't you know that I just did this last OCtober and cant remember! Also do we put the luggage tags on at the airport or at the terminal? I think I'm losin it!!

Finally got both of my daughters costumes together, should be interesting. I have a witch costume but still have not decided if Im going to bring it.

Cannot wait to go!!

MAUREEN: Have fun with the new luggage and packing

If you are flying down and taking the DCL bus to the terminal, you put the yellow tags from the MAGIC DOCUMENTS on the luggage at home and then the DCL people load them on the bus for you and all you have to do is go find the DCL buses with your carry-ons and kids.

All we do with the other pages is fill in the blanks on the appropriate pages and bring the booklets with us. At the port the check-in people pull out the pages they want and give you your room keys.

Why don't you bring the witch costume if you have space. Then if you want to dress up, you can. Seems like we have some other witches and Estelle is of questionable category--perhaps the witch category (this is driving me NUTS, ESTELLE!) so you could be part of a group with them--the HALLOWEEN CRUISER'S COVEN and maybe qualify for a prize as best group. Wouldn't that be a neat group of all different sized witches from OUR THREAD?

Hey does anyone here spell "color" colour? or like "favorite" favourite. You know... I like those ways of spelling. I think I'll test my teachers and see if they think it's spelled wrong, when it's actually right both ways!

I am with Suzanne on "favourite" and "colour" but I ALWAYS spell it GREY.

How about the "DIS COVEN" or "THE WITCHES OF DIS" for the witches group? The latter sounds like a book or a movie. I am having fun with this and do not plan to be in that group if I even dress up.

Any other DIS members dressed fancy for Formal night could be part of her court too for the Halloween judging contest. There is a category of BEST GROUP. She could be the DIS QUEEN MUM! With her COURT. Would she go for it?

Favourite and colour are the english spellings. I have never seen anyone use gray and I think my english teacher would kill me if I did!

Rory-I think I'd rather meet the Lord of the Rings cast but then we're all different. I never got round to seeing Harry Potter cos I saw Lord of the rings first and I knew Id compare the 2, I didnt think it was fair on Harry Potter to do that cos I love Lord of the rings so much.

Just an FYI of things going on at the parks before and during our cruise:

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is putting a spooky spin on its evening hayrides by hosting Haunted Halloween Hayrides on Oct. 18, 19, 25, 26 and 28-31.
Unlike the peaceful hayrides that take guests through the dark woods around the resort nightly, the haunted hayrides will feature interactive spooks and surprises along the trail.

The 20-minute rides depart every 30 minutes from Pioneer Hall. On Oct. 18 and 19, the first wagon leaves at 7:30 p.m., and the last wagon leaves at 10 p.m. On Oct. 25 and 26, the first wagon leaves at 7 p.m., and the last wagon leaves at 10 p.m. From Oct. 28-31, the first wagon leaves at 6:30 p.m., and the last wagon leaves at 10 p.m.

Ticket sales begin one hour prior to the first ride, and tickets must be purchased at the departure location next to Pioneer Hall. Tickets cost $8 a person. Children ages two and under ride free.

Rides may be cancelled due to inclement weather.

EMMA - I would also love to meet the Lord of the Rings cast. One of my friends is in love with Orlando Bloom and the other is obsessed with whoever plays Gimli (Don't ask). I myself like Elijah Wood. We can have so many fun games! A lot of the time we talk on a "phone" with the characters. It's actually pretty funny when you hear what we can come up with!

I spell it grey. I personally believe that "gray" is too Americanized. I like to spell it theatre because that's how I've seen it as my sis performs and works in the theatre and yells at me when I say it wrong.

As far as the docs...have them all filled out before you get to the counter to check in, including the Bahamas immigration form and payment approval forms, so that all the CMs have to do is tear out the pertinent info and send you on your way. You don't want to be the person who is holding up the line because you didn't fill out your docs completely before arriving at the port. Sign the front page of the contract (near the back) to confirm that you agree with Disney's policy that absolutely nothing bad is their fault (hehehehe) and you are ready to cruise!!!

Hey everyone!

It's been a few days since I have visited. Things have been crazy around here. We finally got my DD costume yesterday. She is going to be sully from monsters inc. She looks adorable in it. Of course she will not be able to wear it for MNSSHP because she will sweat to death in it. but hopefully it will be cool enough on the boat.

I have almost finished packing for me and DD. My DH is another story. I am so excited!!!!!! I can't wait to be on that beautiful boat again. And I cant wait to meet all of you. I am not sure what time we will be arriving at the Radisson on Friday. I was hoping to only have to work 1/2 a day, but I am not sure that is going to happen. So we may not be up there until 6 or 7. But we will definately meet at poolside after that.

I also love viggo mortenson as Aragon, but I also loved him in 28 days.
