I have not been on the boards since page 65. WOW, you have been busy. I have not been ill, I have been knitting Cabbage Patch doll clothes for the daughters of a friend.
I offered to keep a list of who was bringing what for Trick or Treating but only got a couple replies. If you want to send to me--you can direct e-mail me, see below-- I can be the keeper of that list, or we can just figure that we will bring what we feel like and if it is a duplication--that happens. What is everyone's preference?
Estelle's comment cracked me up:
Okay, now if I understand the contract correctly the only way you could possibly sue Disney would be if the Captain attacked you. Even if you struck an ice berg in the middle of the Carribean you couldn't sue. Of course you could probably get a large amount for the pictures from the National Enquirer.
We got our MAGIC DOCUMENTS a few days ago. Gave them the once over and will look in detail this weekend on our get-away to our local timeshare.
MASONPIPS: Can you tell DS that his Tux is a costume too? He is dressing up as a rich man. Or a modern king or something like that?
Is Goofydisney's family counted in the Trick or Treating? I did not see her on the list.
Our dinner seating is LATE as is Estelle's.
Lorraine--I think you are new to this discussion: Welcome! Are you participating in Trick or Treat? Bringing kids?
How many family groups are represented? perhaps we should make up Halloween bags, one for each family group, with the local treat, local postcard, home address (like on a business card or a return address label) and hand them out on the Trick or Treat day.
The Documents said something vague about Trick or Treating on the ship and that made me wonder if
DCL might "do" Halloween on a different day and have Formal Night on Thursday as on other cruises. Or put the Formal Night a different day. On a previous cruise a fellow we met who had produced entertainment for other cruise lines said that Formal Night is usually an at-sea day so that the ladies have all day to get their hair done at the Spa. For Halloween no one would do that, so maybe they would hold that on Grand Cayman day when we are leaving the port earlier than on Cozumel day. Any ideas?
