Calling CRO about AP rates

Hi everyone,

Haven't been around in a while, but just convinced DH to take another trip to the world! :banana:

We've decided to get one AP to take advantage of the room discount. So like everyone, I've been patiently waiting, waking up early, checking the boards. My question is for those of you who call CRO to check about codes. Do you just ask "are there any AP codes released yet?" The last time I made an AP reservation they asked me for the 3 letter code, but if they just come out, I wouldn't have that. I won't have my voucher by the time I book either, but from what i've read, that's ok (last time i already had an activated AP). Will they let you book if a code is out but you don't know the letters? Or should I be checking the websites, find out the code, then call? It seems that's not what others are doing.

Help me, DIS. You're my only hope :yoda:
 
I don't think I've ever been asked for the actual code. But then again I don't usually try to book the first day the codes come out. I would just ask if the AP code has been released yet.
