Tyler - we are having a discussion on the Rumors board about WDW infrastructure. As you can imagine, the biggest knock is the bus/road system. As an example of how bad the system can be, one of our compatriots posted his experience in taking a bus, at closing, directly from MGM to DD. After waiting (a long time) for a bus the actual drive time took 45 minutes. In my experience that is not typical. Maybe it is. We figured you'd have a good idea . Thanks for the help.

Drive time 45 mins from Studios to Pleasure Island? HA! It's a TEN minute drive... Tops. The bus heads straight to PI, rather than the typical Community Drive to Marketplace to PI. When I have more time, I'll venture over.

That's what I tried to tell them . I guess one area where I could see a problem is a back-up of cars and busses leaveing MGM, before they even make it out of the parking lot. Still, I can't see a half hour being lost there.

Hrmm... true... that backup does add some time. But security is always out there directing traffic, and letting the Studios exit take priority with the light... (On a side note, within the next 5 years, they will be adding a much needed auxilliary exit onto Victory Way)
