We have been to Seaworld once in 2005 and enjoyed it. We are planning a last minute trip to Orlando for Thanksgiving to visit relatives and want to go to Seaworld for the day. Any advice on which day would be better between the Saturday and the Sunday after Thanksgiving? I am leaning towards Sunday because we were in Disney this week last year and that is when the crowds started to thin out. Do we need an entire day at the park if we arrive early? Does Seaworld decorate for the holidays and have special holiday things like Disney does? Lastly, how far is Seaworld from Downtown Disney? I think that is is. I look forward to hearing on somebody. THanks

Seaworld has started putting up Christmas decorations and will have special Christmas shows again this year. With the shows schedules, you could easily spend a whole day and then some.

DTD is not far from Seaworld. If driving, you would head up Hotel Plaza to 535 and hop on I-4. It is the first exit. And then 2-3 lights and you are there.

Seaworld starts its Holiday celebration mid November, but holiday themed shows begin the day after Thanksgiving. I would go on a Sunday. It will definitely be less crowded than a Saturday. Here is some info I posted on another thread about Seaworld's Holiday events....

also they have all day dining...cheaper if you are a bfast, lunch, dinner person

It's like a 15 minute drive from DTD. I usually always headed up Palm Parkway (I worked on the corner of 535/palm pkwy), and I could be walking in the gates 20 minutes after getting off work.
