LOTS of walkers in all rD races! I mostly walked the Royal Family 5K in 2012 and finished in just under an hour - 58ish minutes. It's possible they can, but I've never heard of people being swept in the 5Ks. And I strongly suspect you'll find yourself moving faster than you expect, just form excitement and adrenaline! I'm doing all 3 races this year and plan to walk most, if not all of the 5K.Are there alot of walkers at Disney 5k's and are they all finishing within 49 minutes?
Will Disney really take you out if you are too slow?

Just to interrupt this awesome board dedicated to awesome running princesses to thank H&M for the David Beckham commercial. Back to training. Tomorrow![]()

Me too, but it's always a possibility - are your outfits made from tech/wicking material? That's really all you can do about rain is wear clothes that won't hold the water and get heavy. If the forecast is rainy, I also suggest a brimmed hat/visor, which will help deflect rain from your eyes.Anyway, it was pretty good...I just really really hope it does not rain that weekend!

Proving that you never know what the heck FL weather will bring, we were in the 40s last Fri. and hitting low 80s all this week, before diving back down to 30-something.

Final long run coming up this weekend and I'm planning to make it a mini-Triple Crown: 2ish miles Fri., 5 Sat., 9-11ish Sun. After that, it's taper city.
