As for Team Entry....try this link....

https://www.active.com/register/questions.cfm?category_id=1800795&registrant_type=else&CFTOKEN=0

Thanks for the welcome! :) I did see that option on the registration email, but the link does not work. It says there is an "error." I originally tried it yesterday and the error is still there today, so I guess I will give RunDisney a call!

Try link provided above....and thanks jmasgat for posting them :thumbsup2

We have three people running the PHM from my family and I can't afford the RR for all of us. We will be staying on Disney property but we will have our own car with us. I would like to drive to the start of the race and park so we can hang out in the car for a little while if it is rainy or cold.
Do they have maps at the expo showing which roads will be closed and which roads you can take to get to the start? My dh will not be happy if we are driving around at 3:30 in the morning getting lost!
Thanks

Hi guys! A friend and I are all registered for the 2014 PHM!! We want to run as a team and are having a hard time figuring out how to do that. It says we have to register and pay individually, which we did, but now we want to pay the $15 to become a team! Anyone know how to do this? I'm so excited!!

In the confirmation there is a link to register as a team.

Now about the kids' races - my kids want to register and they will be in two different categories (5 and 7). I would rather register for the Saturday races, but will it be too crazy trying to do that the same morning as the 10K? I ran the W&D last year, but since it's a night race the kids were already in bed and I didn't have to worry about them. Will it be easy to do the 10K and two different kid races on the same morning?

I was wondering the same thing and actually emailed runDisney. They wrote back letting me know that Kids Races will be at Epcot immediately following the 10K. This will make it easier in terms of both races being in the same location. I was inquiring particularly about the Kids Mile because the website said it would be a different time/location than the other kids races. runDisney confirmed it will be doable to run the 10K and the Mile with kids so that's what we're doing!

My kids are 6 and 9. Last year they did the age group dashes and it was hard to manage with 2 kids in different events. Plus, they are over so quickly! So I'm looking forward to being able run with both of them this time. Since I am going Glass Slipper anyway, what's another mile? ;)

I'm planning to do the same. Sadly, I've yet to see maps with the road closures at any WDW race - that would be so helpful! They do explain exactly how to get to the races by car, though, and you can plot it on a map. I found 2013's instructions here: http://runningatdisney.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/2013-Princess-FI-pg2.jpg

I could have sworn when I signed up that the kids races said 10:00. I see now that it says 8:45. Am I crazy? Did anyone else see 10:00? Worried about getting to kids races after 5k. I guess it doesn't matter since its at Epcot and not WWOS like I thought it would be.

I cannot believe how quickly this is filling up! I ran this past February and hope to in 2014. Unfortunately, well fortunately, I am starting a new job and don't know what my life will look like until next week. I'm worried about the 10k being full by then. Dang!

Hubby and I are all signed up for GSC!

So excited to be back on the Princess threads! I've missed it the past few months!

For the half yes, not sure of the course yet for the 10K

I think the 1/2 is the only one that weekend that will go through the castle. The description of the 10K says it is a journey through Epcot. I think the only way the 10K would go through the castle is if it ends in MK. Now, that would be fun!

Oh no! Just realized I registered for the race under my current name. I'm getting married in early October, so by the time race day rolls around, my license will definitely be changed. I should be able to change that through disney right?

So, I'm registered. I'm worried that I bit off more than I can chew! I hope by the Time feb is here I can loose 80 lbs and figure out how to run ( or run/walk) 13.1 miles.
Any one accomplish anything like this before?

I've been married 3 years and have no plans on changing my name :). I don't think it would be an issue if you just email them and let them know.

If you think of it as the whole picture 80 lbs and 13.1 miles you are going to be over-whelmed and set yourself up for failure DON'T do this to yourself Take it ONE pound at a time and ONE mile at a time or even less Your goal is health and have fun doing it I was 224 years ago I am 181 now I want to be 160, more than the charts say I "should" be but where I feel the healthiest

I am also coming off an injury that had me in physical therapy 9 to 10 hrs a week not counting home exercises Hurt Jan 29 formal PT just ended last Thurs

I am not running yet, 2 weeks ago walking had me screaming in pain after a few yards Baby steps baby steps get good shoes and find a plan that will work for you You can do whatever you set your mind & heart on :cheer2:
