Tell them you need to get a conversion number that you can put into the website to register your AP since you have one of the new RFID cards.

You need to supply the number on the back of new card to them, so they can look it up.

One thing that I find interesting is the team aspect. There is no registering as a team, but seems to be a later added for an additional $15. So I can see some people teaming up much easier now. It also states that a GSC can team with a PHM runner as no team awards in 10k. I also like to see the same rules for the marathon corraling have been rolled to this race, hopefully it helps this year.

DARN! Looks like I won't be able to use my 2012 Tink time for proof since it has to be from Feb.1 or after....things sort of fell apart for me after Tink last year and my times are crummy. I guess it's 10k hunting time for me! I think I know of one on 10/27 so that gives me plenty of time to get back up to "speed" rolleyes1) and still meet the Dec. 1 deadline to turn in times. Other than that, happy to see that, at least for the time being, the expo is set at WWoS. Hopefully that sticks this time! Now, I wonder how long it will be before they reveal medal designs? DDD medals were already revealed so I wonder if we'll get an early peek too eventually.

I had the same problem - the young man who helped me had to put it in from his end. FYI - I couldn't see it immediately on my end, but you can check it by going to passholder page and trying to get the passholder rate hotels deal. If you are golden, it will come up otherwise it tells you to add an AP.

My sister and I are pretty sure we know which corral we've qualified for, but would like to know for sure. That way, we can run another race to improve our times if we fall short!

Oh I so hope so. I was completely bummed when the 2010 Goofy was revealed to be a HUGE FIVE. I was so pissed I had to run it again the next year so I earn the Goofy Head. This glass slipper better be worth it!

I'd imagine it would be slower for Princess seeing as the race is made for women.

They normally don't release the corral info until waivers and race numbers are released...which they say is "approximately one month before race day" but usually ends up being more like 2 weeks before race day I imagine they can't do it any sooner because the corrals and their cut off's are determined by the total # of runners and their times that are submitted.

Corrals depend on the field, but last year the first corral was sub 2:15. Thru have promised more corrals this year, so hopefully the requirement for the front corral will be a little stricter!

Yeah! We finally got the official news about pricing etc. Took long enough! I have two questions. A friend ran a half in Boston this past weekend and did well, 1:50, but said she was really surprised by how much the large race field impacted her race. I am curious, I have heard these races are huge, and there are all kinds of corral issues. Out of curiousity, anyone know about how many people run each year and how big the size of each corral is?

Also, I am trying to sign up for the GSC, planning to do the half with my sister. I texted my sister to give her details when they came out today. She is planning to wait until the end of August to register, do you think this will be a problem? I want to make sure she gets in.

^ This. Also, you can't go by the corral cutoff times with any certainty, either... I submitted no proof of time for the 2013 PHM, entered an estimated finish of the minimum allowed without proof (2:45:00 I think?), and was placed in C. That did not correlate in any way to how the corrals were supposedly arranged.

I'm drawing a blank on total participants - a LOT. It was a packed course this year. 22,000ish. Corrals looked like this:

Honestly, I think it'll sell out long before then. Keep an eye on the percentage registered on runDisney and act when it gets to 90% or risk missing out!
