Bib number 3603 and DD's is 3604. I guess this is really happening! You'll be able to recognize us. We have "This seemed like a good idea three months ago" on the front of our shirts. It sounded very appropriate. We have "Race official. Do not pass" on the backs. I am hoping that keeps the sweepers away from me!

lol. While technically I don't think I've ever seen anythign against it, most real teams have the same color shirts. You may want ot keep in mind that WISHers and scream teams look out for the lime. So, you wo't be as obvious to teh rest of us adn may miss out on some on course introductions and cheering along the way.

I am thinking i may dl it and put it on my tech shirt - it's a baby blue color. Also, you could pin on your name tag that i did for you with the Lime mickey.

I just did the distance but I had problems!!!!
My pit crew where ment to be behind me, but they thought that they would take a short cut and meet up with me, but I had a break down!!!!! 1:20h later they drive around and find me!!!!!
If I take the waiting time out of my total I am around the 1:30h time.
They will not be taking a short cut again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, the excitement!!!!
My DD called a bit ago and said she did her long run...it was just over 9 miles...her longest yet. I said "You just did a 15K,"-I could almost "hear" her smile, a big smile, over the phone.
She said she loved the outfit I sent her, she did her long run in it and she said she looked cute and was very comfortable.

I got my waivers printed out!

Well, it's about 8:10 pm here, and i am in bed.. LOL I am planning on a "trial" similar to race day - I am scheduled to do 10 mi. tomorrow, which i can't even believe!! So,i decided that since it's such a long time - and i am on the TM, that i would get up at 4am. have breakfast, and then get on the TM by 5am, and hopefully - finish by 7:15-7:30am. Then, at least it will be done for the day.
I went out tonight, got replacement sneakers - same ones i have now - got a couple gel packs, charging my MP3, had pasta for dinner, and i am ready to go! I am excited and nervous.
Never, ever would i have thought i would be doing 10 mi. even a year ago!

On a related note, i am planning an "info session" for my mom and sis tomorrow afternoon - you should see what i did - (since neither one of them likes to spend much time or effort on the computer) i printed out their waivers, the last princess news we got yesterday, the Poly menus , Poly map, Park times, and expo info, and bought pink folders - i am going to make info packets and give them both a breifing tomorrow.. LOL I even printed out the logo and am going to glue it to the front of the folder..
Can ya tell i live for this stuff?! LOL

As for the WISH logo. Just remember the WISH is part of Disboards. Dis official color is lime green and so that is the kinda official color of the WISH racing team. Since the jpeg is out there you really could put it on anything you want, but again most of the WISH racing team wears the "lime" Dis color for our shirts. Please use the copywrighted logos that were provided by Sunny who was the one who designed them. She would greatly appreciate it.

I am keeping track of the Half marathon bib numbers only, this is in case we hear about corral placements. The 5K is not set up with corrals, so no need to keep a list. I sent an email out asking about corrals and placements to trackshack and hope to hear back from them.
