Ok guys can you help me out? Can't find the princess icon online anywhere- how did you get yours for your signature?

My little legs are achey now, had a sports massage tonight to try to lengthen my muscles and tendons again. Apparently have weak glutes which is affecting how much my knee twists and causing IT Band pain. ohh so complicated. Just need to find some exercises now!

Sorry to here about your IT band problems. It is so hard to work through them, I know DH deals with Planters Fasitis (sp) and Pirofirmis and it just flares up sometimes.

Which hopefully is not this weekend since we have a 1/2 marathon, it will be DS first and I am so excited for him!!!!!

Even though I haven't officially registered yet (why give Disney my $$$ 6 months prior to the race), I have made my DVC reservation at BWV.

I am looking forward to this event. I'm going to take a well deserved rest from running after my marathon (only 19 days away) and then start training again in January.

Welcome Lisa, I have not officially registered either, the rumours are this won't fill but if it does it won't be for some time so I agree I am hanging on to my money as long as possible.

i have a 1/2 marathon this weekend, but no rest as I am doing my very first full at disney in Jan so the training continues

It's looking better and better for me to make it to the Princess half. It's a tough time...my DS will have started golf for high school team (and he doesn't drive yet), my 25th anniversary is on the 3rd., and my DD will be on spring break and is due back to school on the 8th. She said that she might like to do the race.

So....help me out ladies....DD comes home and takes care of brother and DH and I go to WDW to celebrate , DH returns home (I stay at the World) and DD come to WDW for a couple days of fun and the race? Now how do all the travel arrangements work? I have a few months to figure that one out!

AND!!! for pasta something I learned during the Minnie meet. Riverside has a make your own pasta dish available.

I had it but it went cold on me from all the talking I did. BUT they had a microwave there to reheat It was good. Mom and Susan had theirs warm still. Susie & Cindy had it too and I can't remember if Denny and M'Lisse had it as i was being told to sit still and eat (Ahhh Mom!)

This is going on our 'race weekend' list of places to eat the night before.

I had the alfredo sauce and thought it was yummy. It came with a piece of garlic (?) bread all i recall was that it too was yummy and wished it was still warm LOL

In defense of me talking too much and the food going cold that would have happened anyways since i rarely eat fast.

If I ever make our reservations we'll be at the Caribbean Beach. i want to try it out But 1st I have next week to get thru and then I will book and pay on the deposit. Taking DH to do the EE5K challenge and a weeks vaca there is going to make the bank account cry as it is

Vicki???? Oh my friend of the North! Miles is going to start his packing this weekend. I have to see if DH says 2 Pals or 1. Poor Miles went to the DL Half and never made it out of the room. LOL

Happy training this weekend everyone!!!!! Even with the other races on deck before the Princess I am really really looking forward to that weekend. It will be Susan's 1st time onthat course. I will FINALLY get to meet Vicki in person after having 'known' her for a bit now. It's going to be a GREAT weekend!!!

We love to eat at POR even when we aren't staying there. This was very good. We tried a couple of different variations and shared. Yummy! I need to know when you plan on eating there so that Chuck & I can meet you and Susan. I'm really, really looking forward to that as much as I'm looking forward to the race.

Couldn't decide which princess, didn't like the choices. Where was Minnie (isn't she the original princess??), Jazmin or Ariel?? I would've picked Ariel or Minnie. I ended up picking Cinderella, thought about all the cruelty she went through with the Step Mom and Step Sisters.

I had the same problem. Think I finally chose Belle (was she a choice?). I have this funny aversion to the Princesses in general. Is that Disney blasphemy? I have an issue with women that just hang around waiting for their "Prince" to come save them. Silly, I know. And I'm not a big women's libber.

Belle was a choice. I picked her because she's a big reader. Also, if you'll remember, Belle didn't just lay around waiting on a dude to show up. She went out loooking for and saved her dad. She also rushed back and helped save the Beast. Belle's a doer. Why Pocahontis (sp?) wasn't a pick I don't know. Or Mulan for that matter.

You pick a princess when you are going through the registration process. There are 4 to choose from. Not sure what they are going to do with it. Maybe put that princess on your bib??

I think i picked Cinderella, only b/c she (in my mind) is the first princess i can remember -- I never really cared for Sleeping Beauty or Snow White -- but Cinderella for me is just a classic.
Don't remember who exactly the choices were -- we registered AT the Grand when we were there for the Minnie 5k.. LOL so my head was still spinning -- i don't remember much of the registration,except the shock when it hit me that i did it! LOL
