Calling all October 25, 2012 Dream 3 day cruisers!

As of right now, we are 8182! Talk about being neighbors!! The room may change though. My BF doesn't want to be on the port side but it looks like starboard is full.

Yeah, we wanted starboard too. Oh well, at least we'll be on the ship!

I swear though, everyone needs to work harder on keeping the secrets secret!

Just think if no one here had ever said how great starboard is or how great cabanas are!!

Maybe we should start rumors about smoke on the starboard side and sand fleas in the cabanas?!

LOL sure! I can start by updating our FE list from our last cruise, since half of us are already on it! :rotfl:

I'm thinking September 24th for a deadline - sound good?

Can someone tell me how I can choose the stateroom or chance it afterwards?. Didn´t find it when I booked the cruise.

Not exactly sure what you're asking?

If you already booked your cruise, and have a stateroom assignment but want to change it, you can call DCL yourself, unless you booked through a TA - in that case the TA will have to call to make the change for you.

If you booked a GTY, you don't have the option of choosing your stateroom. It will be assigned shortly before your cruise. Sometimes even the day of.

If you're asking about choosing a stateroom number when you book through DCL online, I can never see the option to choose a stateroom until I hit "Add a stateroom." Dunno why. :confused3

If none of this answered your question, please clarify. :goodvibes

So, we are (permanently!) in 8172 & 8174. :cheer2:

:lmao:

So much for our last cabin change being permanent!

We are now in 5520 & 5522 and this time it IS permanent!

Have you guys seen those cabins?!

They're like mini-suites with TWO huge porthole windows in each! :cool1:

The only way we'll change again now is if we're upgraded for free to a verandah room or DS20 bails on us again and we can all fit in a cat V! :rotfl:

Thanks for the answer.
Booked #2508 and did not have the possibility to choose any stateroom. Now I'm thinking about upgrade to a stateroom with verandah (depends on the tax refund) and wonder if I could choose the room #.

Yes, you can! :goodvibes

I usually use Expedia to see what cabins are still available. Not only is it easier, it actually shows the deck plan so you can see where they are located on the ship.

I just found last night that highly coveted cabins 5520 & 5522 became available for our cruise and emailed my TA. I received my change confirmations from her this morning! :cool1:

Good luck on your cabin search/change!

Hiho,
my daughters name is also Genevieve...funny as it might not be a very popular name in Germany as well as in Puerto Rico:banana: My daughter is 30 so she´s not with us.
....and we are neighbors as we stay at room 2508.
....and my first language is German:rotfl::rotfl:

Can't wait to :woohoo::woohoo:

Count us in!
We booked this cruise on board back in November. I think this will be our 8th Disney cruise and second on the Dream. We will be spending the first part of the week in a Tree House Villa at SSR with a bunch of family, but it will be just my DH, Dave and myself on the cruise.

We booked a GTY for this trip. I like taking my chances on these shorter ones.

To all you "disneybride" wann-bes, make the guy do it! Disney weddings are awesome, both my sister and I had resort weddings. We saw a Castaway Cay wedding last fall. That would be the ultimate!

Our passports came today! I was shocked at how fast they were. It only took 10 days to process them. Now we just have to wait another 8 months 11 days to use them.:yay:

There probably won't be a Disney cruise wedding this year - considering he just bought me a house! (As he keeps saying... actually WE bought a house, but we did a VA loan and he's the vet, not me, so I couldn't be on the mortgage. :rotfl:)

I'm not giving up though... when we do get married, it'll be on Castaway Cay... even if I have to work two jobs to pay for it!!! ;)
