Thanks, Jean. I get very embarrassed when I cry in front of other people, even my own boyfriend, so that was part of it. Then the fact that had I stayed to listen, I would have gone into full-on sobbing convulsions, I'm sure... 
I also haven't had any alcohol in quite a while, unless you count the "blackberry witbier" beer bread I made last week. J and I want to get some Sam Adams Summer Ale, and I'm still jonesing for some of that Wachusett Blueberry Ale I had at Cheers last year...
Must share with the nuts...I finally got a call from my caseworker with the state yesterday. I'm officially a student again! I go see her in 2 weeks to get my paperwork to take to the school and sign up for classes! It's going to be weird to be a student again, but I'm excited, too!
And...maybe I'm reading too much into this, you guys can tell me. Last night I went to J's niece's nursery school graduation with the entire family. He was saying stuff about family relationships and said to me, "Right now you're 'Uncle Jay's girlfriend' to the girls...but probably eventually you'll be 'Auntie'..."
