Hmm...see, I can't really say I'm all that interested in finding people from HS or anything. I'm still friends with the same people that I was friends with back then, and only Andrea is on FB. Two of my cousins are on it, too, but that's about it. That's why I'm not sure if I want to bother. But with my 20th reunion coming up...I don't know yet if I even want to go...

Question for you guys...I have a couple of christenings coming up, for my "nephew" and "niece." Not blood-related; they're the kids of my two girlfriends that I've known for 20 years. I've never had to deal with this before, so, am I supposed to give gifts? And if so, what? I don't think they expect anything, knowing that I don't have a job, but I can afford a little something. I'm honestly not sure what the protocol is for something like this.

Just get them a little something like maybe frame up a pretty card (the pic part) or get a copy of the NY Times on the day they were born or a silver feeding spoon (actually not much, like can be gotten for less than $15 of course unless you want to get Gorham Euro style & heavyweight).
Or one of those little painted (or print out) thingys incorporating art that tells what the child's name means
Or a small children's Bible or cross

Peej - I actually hardly ever do my nails! However, with the nice weather coming, I always wear flip-flops and I cannot leave the house without my toenails painted. It's yet another quirk of mine.

I must mention - Jason really has nice feet for a guy. You know how a lot of men's feet are all gnarly and hairy? His aren't. Weird...

On a different note...a little rant; I wish my boyfriend would decide which concert he's going to see with his brother, Judas Priest or Heaven and Hell with Ronnie James Dio. There's a Dio video on right now and I keep thinking, whichever concert he chooses, I'll get tickets for the other one as his birthday gift. Can I smack him around a bit until he decides?

Did everyone have a good Memorial Day? I spent it at Number One's SIL's parents' house on the lake. Yep, I've now met the entire family! And I guess they like me; his mother, SIL, and brother all gave me a hug when we left.

I am such a sap, though. We first went to his sister's place, since she was driving...she showed us how she was fixing up her living room, and the TV was on, and I heard Taps playing...ugh, I had to go outside; I burst out crying. I CANNOT listen to Taps, especially with my cousin (a former Marine) dying this year

Plans for June...hm...none really. J and I want to do some walking/hiking. Maybe take up letterboxing.

What's everyone up to? We had a tag sale this past weekend, sold a lot of stuff, but now I'm finding even MORE stuff that I need to be rid of! How depressing to have so much...

I donated 2 bags of stuffed toys to Beanies for Baghdad. Guess what I'm finding even more of?

Well we have put our home in MA on the market as we are going to be staying here in CA!!! Anyway, I will be coming home this summer and plan to have yard sales...good to know about "Beanies for Baghdad"...I have allot of Beanie Babies!

I love hiking!!! J & you will find so many awesome places to hike all throughout New England. We have taken up bike riding here in SoCal and LOVE IT!!!! I feel like I am 12yo again, riding along the beach!!!

Going to take my "career interest inventory" test today. Lunch with a former coworker first, then we're both going.

The only other interesting thing I've done lately is go to "Rock Fest" with Number One on Saturday. It was a LONG day of tribute bands...Bon Jersey, Back in Black (AC/DC), and Led Zepplica. Pretty cool...
