Calling all non AKV owners

I just snagged a standard view studio for Nov 4-7. I have to move to a one bedroom on the 8th, then we go to CSR. I don't mind moving within the resort for just one night (although it seems like a waste of housekeeping).

I debated back and forth on doing this, but decided to give it a try (cancelled SSR).

Hi All,

We just found out that we will not be able to use our AKV SV Studio reservation for Sept. 20-22. I borrowed some of the points to make the reservation and I probably won't have another opportunity to use the points before my use year is up, so I think the only option I have is to see if anyone wants to rent the reservation or lose the points. Is that correct? I thought I understood all of the DVC rules before I bought in, but when I have to put them in practice my brain freezes.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can offer suggestions.

I would go to the rent/trade board and post it, you might get a renter. The pts usually rent for $10 a pt. So, if you used 50 pts, you should be able to rent it for $500.

Go over there and do some reading.
