Hello everyone - it's good to see all of you!!! Sorry I haven't posted for a long time, but my laptop that I always keep in the kitchen has died and I can only use the computer in the basement. The problem with that is, I can't get down there very often, because I don't want the baby walking around down there unsupervised.

Mad4Mickey - how is spring break going??? You mentioned your son and friends will be eating you out of house and home - do they eat alot??? The reason why I ask is because my friend has a son about the same age as Derick and he is in baseball and football and he eats more than anyone I ever met. He eats 3 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch, and he is as skinny as a rail. I eat one Ritz cracker with peanut butter on it and I'm running to the store to buy bigger jeans - what's up with that. Stephanie's spring break begins on Good Friday and is the whole week after Easter. The Monday after Easter is when Katie is getting her cast removed. I'm so excited because it's getting dirty and stinks . It's getting pretty nasty!!! Talk to you soon!!!!

DisneyDmbNut - it's good to see you - how's it going?? Did you get your new dog yet, or is that next week? If you did get it - how are things going with your new addition? Please tell us all about it.

polly p - congratulations to your girls for their cheerleading successes 4 1st place wins is so exciting!!! DH and I agreed that we are going to start Stephanie, my 6 year old, in a cheerleading class in the fall - I just know she will be great at it!! Keep up posted on how everything goes on 4/2.

Katie's cast came off today - and what a happy day today is. She just looks at her arm w/o the cast and says, "Wow".

Easter was good. It was very quiet. My DH is in Alabama for training for the week. He had to leave Easter Morning. I spent the day with my parents. A little somber. My aunt passed on on good friday. and my dd had a cheer coach go on holy thursday. She was only 36. dd took it real bad. We go to Niagara Falls for competition on friday and perform 1st thing sat.

We'll see how they do. Definitely sign your dd up. She will learn so much and make so many friends.

I'm sorry to hear about your Aunt - it's so sad when loved ones pass away. How sad about your DD's cheer coach - passing away at 36 years old, that's only 3 years older than me. Whenever I hear about people so young dying, it makes me realize I should never take anything for granted. Was your DD's coach ill? or did she die unexpectadely? How sad!!!

Good luck in Niagara Falls - I hope all goes well. Make sure you post how your girls did - I'm anxious to hear!!

How is everyone and thier kids?
Dh is working overtime alot right now so we are not seeing eachother much but that is ok we will see wachother when we spend that money at WDW in Oct.

DD got "discovered" by a modeling agent ( she has done this before and so has my son ) you is working next weekend as a "EYE" model LOL
Really she is getting paid to have someone take pics of her eyes .

Ds won his wrestling match today so that is always good . now we can all live another day in peace LOL

Hello my friend

The girls are doing great - BabyKate got her cast off her arm the day after Easter and she is going good. The Doctor said that now until she is 7/8 years old she can dislocate it again very easily. He said that if she rolled on it the wrong way in her sleep, she could dislocate it again. So....she can do nothing to aggravate that arm - that means no gymnastics, no monkeybars at the park, no anything like that. I feel so bad for her - but I guess she will have to learn her limitations and live accordingly.

Stephanie learned how to ride her bike w/o training wheels . I am so proud of her and you can tell that she is so proud of herself too. She's growing up so fast, that I just can't believe it. I remember when she learned how to ride her tricycle .

It's great to hear that your DD got discovered by a modeling agent. I bet you are so excited for her. You will have to keep me posted on how she is doing with that.

Congratulations on DS winning is wrestling match - tell him I said Congratulations!!

I will talk to you soon - my dryer is dinging, which means I have to go take clothes out. Take care of yourself!!!

Congrats MadMickey on your daughters modeling job. She has got to be so excited. Eyes today maybe the whole picture tomorrow. She could be a star.
congrats to your son too. He sounds like quite an athlete.

Slo, I'm glad your daughter got her cast off. It's going to be tough to keep from hurting it again. Kids will be kids. Tell her no cartwheels.

My kids are doing great. DS made the modified lacrosse team. DD's did great in Niagara Falls. All teams took first, except juniors placed 3rd and dd took 1st in her individual competition. DH was brought to tears because he has never seen her perform solo before. It was a great competition except for the snow. It must have snowed 6-8 inches during the competition. It was very difficult to drive home we had about a 2 1/2 hour drive. We didn't get home until 12:30am.
DH loved his training in Alabama. He told me he's going back for more classes, so that means I'll be doing the single mom thing again.

I just had to rebook our upcoming cruise. I picked the wrong week for our spring break. Of all years for the district to change it. I ended up paying more, but we have a better room. My agent is a friend and did good by us. My DH absolutely wanted adjoining rooms. They didn't have any in the original cat. I booked.

Hello girls - its been quite awhile since my last post.

How is everyone? Things are going pretty good here. Stephanie is staying busy with school, gymnastics, and dance. Katie is keeping busy by just being a toddler.

I called WDW today and was able to extend our vacation by an extra day - I am so excited. So now we will be there 9/18 - 9/24 and it still doesn't seem long enough.

So what's new with all of you?

We're hanging in there. The kids are keeping really busy with all their sports and activities. the girls last cheer competition is mother's day weekend. So life will get a little less hectic.

Things are a little crazy with my father in law. he has emphasema and is starting to fail. My sister in law is with him more than us because they live in Arizona. She just called and said he's getting worse. So I had to call dh after 10pm at the firehouse. Not really supposed to, but this is kind of an emergency. He should know.

At least spring is finally here. Something good anyway.

More time for you at disney is definitely a good thing, the more timethe better. I can't wait until we can go back. DH and I definitely need a vacation. Alone. No children. Won't happen, not soon enough anyway.

DH is currently at a garage fire and these type of fires always make me nervous - there's always so many different types of chemicals and flammable liquids in garages. I can never go to sleep until he is home and safe.

Hi All!!

I am a alone this week....DH is in Bonita Springs, FL ( on the west coast ) teaching extrication...he comes back on Thursday night, works Friday then leaves Sunday for New Mexico till thursday for some "Bomb" class the department is sending him to. So, I am a "single mom"..lol!
Bah!! He is happy...he can't wait to go to NM....weirdo men!

We are going to WDW in July for a Typoon Lagoon weekend...too hot for the parks, so we are doing the pool and water parks...maybe an Epcot trip so we can eat at Japan...DSS favorite!

Hello ladies - I'm patiently waiting for DH to come home from an ambulance call so I can go to the grocery store and he can stay with the girls. His call was for a car accident where a car rear-ended a school bus - scary!! I'm under the impression there was no injuries so they have to get refusals for treatment from everyone involved.

DisneyDmbNut - it's good to see you. Going to Typhoon Lagoon in July sounds like fun. We have been to Blizzard Beach and I look forward to going to Typhoon Lagoon when Katie gets older (she's going to be 2 this year). We are skipping all waterparks this year. Tell me about the restaurant in Japan - we are looking for somewhere different to eat in Epcot this year - do they have a good childrens menu?? Please let me know - Thanks!!

Thanks - I think we will rule that restaurant out until my kids are older. I'm at a loss on where we should eat at Epcot this year. In past years we have eaten at The Garden Grill and we decided to not go there this year because we are bored of the menu. On the restaurant board there is a thread about The Garden Grill and how it has changed. A CM that works at the restaurant posted what the new menu is and that the restaurant is going to be an "upscale" restaurant. The characters will still be there, but the new menu doesn't look that great. Many people posting on this thread are not very happy about what they are hearing.

I just talked to Rick and next week when he comes back from New Mexico his flight arrives at 11:40pm in Ft Lauderdale...that is 1.5 hours from home...then he has to work at 8am Friday till Sat!! I am a firehouse widow!! I don't think it is even worth coming home on Thursday night...he will have time for a shower and then turn around and leave for work!! WAAAA
So..lets add this up...I saw him on Monday morning at 3:30am when he left...I will see him on Thursday night about 9pm then he goes to work Friday gets home Saturday about 9am then leave Sunday at 10am for NM returning Thursday for 2 hours maybe then I don't see him till Saturday!! ! @(*@*@!)!

Gee..I am very hormonal!! Better check an make sure I am not pregnant!!LOL
