Hello Roe - Your picture is quite lovely and it is nice to put a face to a name. My DH has taken this exact same picture of me in the exact same spot - it's a good photo spot

Well Scrubs really took a beating tonight - they lost 23-3 . DH is not very happy right now.

Well, I have got to run and get to bed. I have to wake up extra early tomorrow - 5:50am - to make my CRT PS's - yes it's hard to believe that we are at the 90 day mark. Every year I make this PS I stress out a little bit more - I think it's because I know that since Stephanie has been there 2 times, she would really be devostated to not get into the castle. I already warned her though that Mickey may want children to go that haven't been before and we may not get in because we have done this breakfast twice already. So.......wish me luck and pixie dust that the phone lines don't jam up and I get my PS.

When we went in Feb. we weren't able to get the Cinderella's Castle b-fast. We did go to the Princess Breakfast in NOrway at Epcot. Although Cinderella wasn't there, my DD's still loved it. Maybe you can get into that if you aren't able to get the other one??? My DD was thrilled to meet Cinderella in Toontown, though. She is here favorite so I know what you mean.

Thanks to everyone for the good thought and good luck wishes for my DS .

He has a private Wrestling coach now so that will help . Silly how this has worked itself into a strange place for our family . He always does well so we have never been on this side of it .


DH is going back to work in the morning and I will have the whole bed to myself !!!! YEAH for me .

Hey I was wondering if you guys could send a PM with Pixie Dust to a friend of mine on the DIS . He little cat Kelly died tonight onthe way to the vet . She is very crushed , she has no children . Her name is Chell on here. VERY sweet girl I have met her in person in WDW and then she came to Dallas for work we went for dinner . If you get a second I would be very grateful !

Well, today was last day of school for Jordan. We're off to camp earlier today.

Just wanted to stop by and say goodbye for the weekend.

Also, wanted to say to our very own Mad4Mickey tomorrow!!! Hope you have a good one. Yes, I did check everyone profiles for b-day dates. HOpe you have a great day and let us know what you do. HOpefully DH will take you out to dinner for all those brownies and dinners you've made for him at the firehouse.

Hello everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We finalized everything w/ our new house today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just had to share this with you all. Up until today, we didn't sign papers w/ the seller of the house we are buying and it was kinda stressing me out. But....everything is now done and I know for a fact that the house is mine. Now we can go buy furniture and start deciding how we are going to decorate . I am so releaved that this part of the move is over.

Roe....can you believe that I didn't get into the castle the other day , I felt so defeated . I was on our home phone and DH was on both of our cell phones at the same time and we still didn't get in. When we were still on hold at 7:15am ET I knew that it was over, and it was. I called back today though and I got into the CRT and the Pirate Cruise (both of which starts at the same time). I am trying again for the CRT tomorrow morning and if I get it then I will cancel today's. If I don't get it then Stephanie is going to have to choose what she wants to do and I will cancel the one she doesn't want. I tell you....this stresses me out more than us moving .

Hello everybody!!!!!!

Just wanted to write in and say hello after a busy holiday weekend here in Indiana. Yes, I did say holiday weekend. Our town does all its festivities the weekend before 4th of July. We had our parade on Sunday and that is always alot of fun because the kids and moms sit on the old antique firetruck and throw candy. The parades are not over yet though. We have a parade in another town that we are going to on Saturday night and the kids and moms are sitting on top of the engine for that one. Then afterwards we are going to that towns carnival - it will be a lot of fun!!!!

Do you guys do anything with the FD for the 4th of July????

Well, that is about all that is going on here. Hope you guys are all doing well and hope to hear from you soon!!!!

My Dh will work onthe 3rd at the big July 4th festival they have for the weekend.
We will go out there and watch the fireworks from the truck
My Nephew ( the cutest Mickey Mouse Firefighter ) is excited .

That is my only plan , Dh is leaving for Wrestling camp at NC state , DD is with their Dad so it is me alone .
How is everyone ?? Our thread is not very active we need to do something about that .

Boy you can really hear the fireworks tonight around here - makes you in the mood for the 4th!!!

Tomorrow we have the biggest parade in the area that we are going to. The parade is at night and it is approx 3 hrs long. It is so long, that our DH's can finish the parade, drive back to our town, return the firetrucks, go home and change, and drive back to find the parade still going - isn't that amazing!!!! They call it the twilight parade because it ends when it is dark out. After the parade, we go to that town's carnival and hang out there till about midnight. We go with a couple of other families - so it is always fun!!!!

I agree with what you said Mad4Mickey about this thread slowing down. But, I think it is because it is summer time and we are not on the computer as much. Hopefully, it will speed up again sometime soon.

Well, have a good holiday - I have to go - DH and DD are back from the grocery store and I am going to help them unload the groceries. Talk to you later

Hello everyone!!!!

I hope everybody had a good 4th of July. We had a nice holiday here in Indiana - pretty low key, which is always nice. Due to rain Saturday we couldn't go to the big parade in our area, so we ordered pizza instead and watched a movie .

Luckily on Sunday, DH didn't have alot of calls and he could relax. He gets his fireworks from a fellow fireman who has a license in pyrotechnics and DH's fireworks show was spectacular!!!!!

Well to all!!! I'm back. Probably didn't tell you but was gone to camp for about 12 days for the holiday and had TONS of family come in from Virginia so we were busy. Had a great time. Lots of food and fun!!! We had a little mini parade at camp and fireworks over the lake. I don't have internet on my laptop at camp so I couldn't talk to you all.

Slo....when are you moving? Should be sometime soon, right?

Hello everyone - good to hear from all of you

I am just briefly on tonight to post on the t-shirt exchange thread that I have received my shirts. I was thrilled when I saw everyone's posts on here . I am glad that everyone is having a nice busy summer - summer would last forever if we didn't keep busy.

To answer you question Roe, I am moving the end of August to the beginning of September - it all depends when the seller of our new house has their new house finished being built (does that make sense ). I am starting to pack and at the same time plan Stephanies 6th b-day party and then in August plan Katie's 1st b-day party. Things are going to be pretty crazy around here really soon.

Hi there -

I'm just checking in after a long day. My girlfriend came in from out of town w/ her 3 children to celebrate Stephanies birthday. We went to a "fun center" where they played games and played in those tubes (you know the ones up by the ceiling). Afterwards, we came back to my house and went in the pool and had pizza and cake. It was a fun day!!!!

A funny story about the day:
Shortly before I was going to light the candles on the birthday cake, DH got a call. So he turned around and left. My girlfriend says, "he leaves just like that?". I said, "yeah, just like that." She said, "he doesn't say goodbye or anything? He doesn't really have to go does he?". I said, "No, he doesn't need to say goodbye, he'll be back in 30 minutes, and he's really dedicated and that's why he goes." She was just absolutly amazed at how calmly he left and how much we accepted it. I told her, "this is just a totally different way of life."

I am sure all of you can relate to this story in one way or another.

Same here, but he ALWAYS yells "I love you" on the way out the door. I will follow him to the car to make sure he hears me say it back. I can't handle the thought that it might not be the last thing he ever remembers hearing from me.

My saying is "Be careful" but I'll have to try this one out, too. That one's even better.

Isn't it funny, SLO, I swear the pagers KNOW when something important is happening, like dinners, birthday's, etc. It ALWAYS goes off then.

We're not going to camp this weekend until Saturday. The girls have FOUR!!! birthday parties to go to between today and Saturday afternoon. Most of the invitations we got this week, sheesh!!!

DH had to go out to camp because it is raining there so much that the lake is up a FOOT!!! OUr paddle boat which was on a little platform near the water started to FLOAT AWAY!!! ONe of our friends at camp got it for us. Boy, am I thankful!!! Hubby also has to go and disconnect our pontoon boat because how he has it connected is making it go lower because of all the rain. I know all the plants need the water but WHOA!!!!
