Last night we took the girls to a local fair, and I'm not looking forward to having to wake up Stephanie this morning - she going to be a grizzly bear The only reason why we took them last night is because the kids could ride the rides as much as they wanted for only $10 a child - that's a great price!!! The rest of the nights are ticket nights, and those tickets are expensive

We had a great day yesterday
We went to the pumpkin patch, decorated the outside of the house for Halloween, and then hung out with our neighbors a little bit - it was a nice day


Now life goes back to normal today
But at least I can now say...........
I go on my cruise this month!!!!!

Jim has been putting in for lots of OT - he says for Disney money, but I think he has some kind of OT disorder! It will be nice to have the extra money for the trip, though!

It's been so slow at the store - I'm starting to get frustrated!!!!!

slo - I think Kevin is right! I have never had my own business, but it has to take time! As soon as people really start thinking about Christmas I know you will be busy! I would say try to enjoy the slow time, but I know you can't!! It will be better before you know it!
So have you started packing? I would love to do the Disney cruise, but the price scares me! You will have to give a full report!


James did not win the election for VP, but he did for class rep. He is pretty happy. He enjoys Student Council. They had a practice game last night against a 6th grade team (our boys are all 5th grade with a few 4th graders) and beat them 24 - 0. Jim even said there were pretty bad officials, so it could have been worse. I think it was good for their egos!


Emily is still sooooo busy! She has a cheerleading competition Saturday and football & volleyball end this week. She should have a couple of good weeks and then basketball (boys/girls) will start. The life of a cheerleader... She will be doing her SWAT presentation at her old school & the one James is at in a few eeks. James probably won't get to tgo since it is for 4th grade, but Emily is really excited to see some of her old teachers!

Sarah is (in her words) in Homecoimng Hell! Her sorority does alot during Homecoming week. Her classes are going well! She is really hoping to get into nursing school early (this summer). They only take a small group. If she doesn't get in then, she should start nursing classes next fall.

It should be a fun weekend
My friend who own the insurance agency in the my plaza is coming over with her DD on Saturday night for cook-out/bonfire - this will be fun, and my girls are so excited because they love her DD (they are about the same age).

Then on Sunday me and the girls are going with Jennifer (same friend) and her DD to the apple orchard/pumpkin patch and spending the day there - it should be another fun day!!!!

2 weeks from now I'll be sitting on my verandah on the Magic
We can hardly wait!!!!!
I need to start laying out the girls clothes on the dining room table tonight. It's kinda hard to do since I don't have a big handle on what to expect, itinerary wise, with this trip. Normally I know exactly what we are doing each second of each day when we are going to The World. I guess I'll have to wing it


Today is pumpkin patch/apple orchard day - it will be fun, I just wish it wasn't so warm outside. There's something a little weird about going to get pumpkins with shorts and a tank top on It's going to be a very very fun day - the girls can hardly wait!!!!!


My stomach is starting to grumble, so I guess I should make some breakfast.

Yesterday was so hot at the apple orchard - it's so weird having such hot weather this time of year. Little Katie was sweating so bad that her shirt was wet. We had alot of fun though and got a ton of apples, apple cinnamon donuts, caramel apples, and then stopped at a local candy store on the way home and got some candy there It was a good day!!!

Hey! Sorry I've been out of touch!

We had a good weekend. Emily had a competition on Saturday and then we had James' game. Sunday was my best friend's daughter's birthday. They live about an hour away so we were there for a while!


We have Homecoming at the park this weekend! I am trying to find about 15 more white pillowcases, but I am so tired tonite that I can't even bring myself to go to another Wal Mart! I cancelled practice for tonite so I could just stay home and cook dinner!

I am having the pillowcases screen printed as a gift for the cheerleaders. I am getting monogrammed water bottles made for the coaches. There is so much to still do! UGH!!!!! I think for now I am going to clean the living room! I am going to try to take the whole night off from park stuff! We'll see how it goes!

I hope they like the pillowcases! I sat up last night and drew giant megaphones on poster board. On efor each of the girls on my squad. Next I will decorate them with their names, paint & glitter. These are to hang up on Saturday. I am working on a suprise for our boys - I am trying to have a banner made with all of their names. We have practice tonite for our competition squad so that will take up a little time! It was nice last night to just stay home, cook dinner and do a little housework.

The kids have CRT's this week (end of quarter exams) so they don't have as much homework, just review. James' football coach actually let them out a little early last night because of the tests! I was pleased, but shocked!!

Well I am off to get ready!

Not to much new by me
I've been so slow at work lately, that it's really bothering me
But I keep telling myself that this is God's way of giving me less stress before I leave on my trip

Hi slo!! I can't believe you are almost into single digits!! Being slow at the store will for sure give you a chance to organize and pack!


I am having the banner made. I am going to hang it on their practice field Thursday night and maybe have the cheerleaders bring some cupcakes for after practice.

I got into scrapbooking for awhile, but it kinda fizzled. I use alot of scrapbooking stuff for the kid's projects, posters & what not. At the end of every football season I add a few more pages to our coach's scrapbook, but that is about the extent of it!

I didn't start the day out very well today
I woke up and found my coffee grounds, and coffee water all over the floor, thrown rug, and counter. Grounds and more grounds everywhere - what a mess, and I HATE cleaning up coffee grounds (especially super early in the morning) I hope this is not an indication of how the rest of the day is going to be

So, what is everyone doing this weekend?
I'm working tomorrow, having Katie's Halloween pictures taken on Sunday morning, and the rest of the time is dedicated to only laying out clothes for packing.
