Good morning everyone!!!
Stephanie's party was great yesterday

!!!! She had lots of fun, and was given a lot of great gifts!!!

My DB & DSIL stayed until dark which was fun because my DB and I played frisbee until we couldn't see the frisbee anymore, and my DSIL played with sidewalk chalk with the girls - it was alot of fun!!!
I'm so glad that Stephanie's party went so well. Like I said in my previous post, you guys always seem to have the best family parties. I would have loved to have been out there playing frisbee! Bet the girls really enjoyed drawing on the sidewalk with their Aunt too!!
How are you and The LTP gang liking your new home on the subboard? Tell everyone over there that I said HI
I'll make sure I tell everyone you said hi! The move went well and we are all unpacked and settled

and liking our new home!
*That's a bummer that you have to start driving back and forth on Aug. 7th

Is the school far, or not to bad of a distance?
It's 15 miles one way! And the first five miles is a steep, mountainous road (which is our road).
How is your DD doing? PM me sometime and let me know.
DD seems to be doing very well lately. One of these days I will PM!

She is going to be "homeless" for a little more than two weeks soon. Her current rent ends on 7/31 and she is moving into a four-bedroom townhouse but it will not be ready until 8/17. So we expect that we'll be seeing quite a bit of her. She is going to go on vacation with us from 8/3 - 8/6 and then she plans on staying up here on the 7th to take care of an appointment. The other time she's going to be staying with her friend's parents who live closer to Charlotte. (This friend will be one of her roommates once she moves!) I'll be glad once she's moved into the new place because it's in a much better neighborhood with more professionals in the complex than students! Thanks for asking about her!
My school ends on August 15th and I have a test Tuesday
So once this class ends will you be ready to start selling real estate? It seems that the class has gone by really quickly. (You probably don't feel that way 'cause you're the one that has had to do the studying!

)
I am so sorry about the gout

I've never had it, but I heard it's painful. Sending lots of PD your way to help your feet
It is terribly painful!! You can't even stand to put a bed sheet on your foot! I'm glad I got into the dr so quickly this time and got on the medication before it got too bad. Tomorrow's my long day at work and I will be on my feet 8-9 hours but I feel I'm ready for it already, that's how quickly the medicine kicks in!!
On the topic of medicine - I couldn't believe the pain medication this dr gave me. Here he has never seen me before and he gives me Vicodine (sp?) - a prescription for 15 which to me in itself is a lot! But he also put four refills on it!!! No wonder people get addicted to painkillers so much! I got it filled just in case the pain did get worse because I knew I would need to be able to get around Friday for A.J.'s surgery - but I never even needed to take one!
When it comes to the doctor misdiagnosing, that would make me upset too. I went through this with my eyes. My Optomotrist misdiagnosed my Rocular Roseaca 4 times and my family doctor rushed me to an Opthomologist and he diagnosed me with what I have right away. I haven't been back to the Optomotrist since, and I won't. His misdiagnosis could have started costing me my sight (literally) and I don't trust him now. You have to do what's right for you about your doctor, but I do understand how you feel
I'm glad that everything worked out for you and that the Opthomologist caught your problem before any damage was done. You have to fully trust your dr and I'm at the point right now that I'm not sure that I do with mine. I'll just wait and see I guess.
I'm glad AJ's oral surgery went well - give him a hug from me

Is he still collecting things from different FD's? If so, when Kevin has anything new, I'll send it to him.

I will pass your hug along to him!!! He has amazed DH and I with how well he has done. And he is not even swollen from the wisdom teeth coming out. We had told him that he would probably have gopher cheeks. Now he's saying, "See, no gopher!"
Yes, he is still collecting fire department stuff. He has quite a collection and he is so proud of it all. He has lots of patches and cards and such framed in his room. Whenever anyone comes over he's got to show them and then he proudly says that it is all from his friends!!! And he wears his various FD shirts ALL the time!!
Am_I_There_Yet - Very nice pictures of you

!!!! I think both hair colors look great on you

What do you do?
Am_I_There_Yet - I was wondering the same thing about what you do??
zoomsharedisney - Glad you stopped back by. Hope we'll be seeing a lot more of you!!!

We're still going to make A.J. take it easy today but DH and the other two boys and I are going to work on cleaning out our basement today!

It's an unfinished basement but we'd like to get it to the point that it's not so much junk and storage and what-not to a place that the boys can do whatever during the winter, sort of a hang-out.
Boy, I certainly have rambled this morning! I guess I'm making up for not being on here for a few weeks!

Of course, we all know I tend to ramble anyway!
Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday!
