Ok so I am going to try to post a pic of Emily at a cheer competition in Destin last season. Maybe it will work!!!

This was before she got her hair cut off and donated to Locks of Love. I hope it worked! It is my first try!

I got another 93%, an A, on my test I was so excited last night!!!! 2 tests downs, and 2 tests to go for me to get my license

Ok anyone want a 17 yr old boy on a partial wrestlign scholarship ? Cause he may not make it here one more night .
Now anyone who knows me knows how I am about my kids I OVERLOVE them if you know what I mean .

We bought him a laptop for school and we didnt buy the most expensive one but the one we could right a check for . $1,200.00 is alot to me to write a check for .

He got it out last night and now needs a better one cause he cant burn cds : ( UGGGGGG

Thanks anyway but a 20 year old DD in college is in enough for us right now. (I can only imagine what it's going to be like when DS12 and DS13 hit college age since they are only 22 months apart and only seperated by 1 year in school!)

We got DD a computer for Xmas and we immediately heard what else she "needed" for it. But she got it herself....amazing!!!

Thanks to all that gave me congratulations on my test score - I appreciate that!!!

Sad news came to us last night about that little girl - she did pass away Now the parents have to plan her funeral - I pray that God gives them strength, because this will be so hard for them

Kathy - I love that picture so much!!!!
When we go to Florida, we always visit Kevin's parents on the Gulf first and then we go to WDW. His parents time-share condo is right on the water, and every morning I wake up early and watch the sun rise with my coffee, just like the picture. Then at night, we sit at the pool and watch the sun set - it's a very peaceful place to visit!!

I am so sorry about that little girl! How devastating! I can't even imagine the pain they are going through!

Glad you liked the pic. I took that on Andrew's 8th grade trip to the outer banks last May.

Good morning everyone!! I hope you are all having a super weekend! I ran errands Friday from 7:40 am to 5:30 pm! I got a lot done! School supplies - check, school clothes - check, school shoes - check, football cleats - check!! The cleats are always fun - I always feel like I am just winging it!! James has such wide feet that he's a hard fit. We finally found some Reeboks. Emily calls them "pimp my cleats"! You can customize them with your team logo (Raiders for us), initials & jersey number. We went to see Cars that night. It was so good! It was a nice end to a busy day!
Saturday we had our final full day for registration at the park. It was busy!! and hot!! I worked for a little while after that. We got free tix for a sneak preview of Talladega Nights for next week. I think it's going to be funny.

Today I work again for a little while today and then Emily & I go to bag groceries. They do this for a fundraiser. It really is pretty good. They avarage about $100 per shift. Wish me luck!!

It is so hot around here lately!!! Thank God we have a pool, or we would be stuck in the house all the time .

I hope to get Matthew's closet cleaned this weekend. Wish me luck! Who knows what's in there!

Good luck!!! I love doing Stephs closet, but it is such a chore. I find lots and lots of missing items in there I also find lots and lots of garbage in there, which is why I do this when she's not home. Because in her little mind, it's not garbage

That sounds like such a busy day!!! This reminds me I have to buy Stephanie some new soccer cleats before fall soccer starts. She left hers out in the rain right before spring soccer ended and they shrunk, and are now to tight

Good Monday morning everyone!!

My hair has officially turned green from the pool water - it's real pretty Do you all remember how I said that I dyed my hair different and didn't like it - now I really don't like it - I will never dye my hair light reddish blonde again when I know I'm going to be in the pool . This never happened when I dyed my hair red penny which is a real carrot red. Oh well, you live and learn

slo - You know there are lots of things out there that look good green and I am sure you are one of them!! However, I now find that I can't quit singing Kermit's "It's not easy being green"! Sarah's hair used to turn green from pools - I'll ask her what we used to put on it to fix it.


Football and cheerleading start at the park today - ugh!! Football will be 5 days a week for the next 3 weeks. I thought about inserting a dancing happy smiley - but I'm not feeling it!


Our fundraiser was for Emily's Allstar stuff. We usually bag with the younger girls, but we were with all older girls yesterday. You really make more with little girls!! I do like this fundraiser because they are doing something and work for tips.

It is going to be 100 degrees here again today, and the heat index is about 110 degrees. It's hotter here than when we go to Florida in September The girls and I are hitting the pool early today so we don't have to be outside in the afternoon.

I am going on an adventure today with my girls, my mom and my SIL. We are going into Chicago to the Field Museum and then out to lunch at Rainforest Cafe. I hope I don't get lost - this will only be my 2nd time going into the city w/o Kevin. So if I don't post tomorrow, it's because I'm driving around trying to find my way home

Good morning everyone and TGIF!!!!!

I got bad news from my OB/GYN yesterday. The second Pap Test that I had came back as abnormal cells again Now I have to return on Aug. 22nd to have another test done where they take a biopsy to see what exactly is going on. I'm pretty nervous . The nurse told me not to be nurse, but what else is she suppossed to say. There's no controlling the nervousness

The drive was so easy, I just couldn't believe it We are going into the city more often now

If I can learn, you can definitly learn I am the most technologically challenged person in the world I visited the Tech Support Board alot, and got alot of help from Dan Murphy. But even if he isn't there, his posts to others that he helped are there, and they are very helpful.
