Good Monday morning everyone!!!

So, what does everyone have planned for tomorrow? We are having my family and a couple of friends over. We are swimming, playing bean bags, playing croque (sp?), bbqing, and then Kevin and our neighbor join their fireworks together for a great fireworks display - it will be a lot of fun!!!

Good Wednesday morning everyone!!!

MY HOUSE LOOKS LIKE AN A-BOMB WAS DROPPED IN THE KITCHEN
The last of our quests left the house at around 11:30pm and I am just exhausted. I normally always clean-up my kitchen before I go to bed, but I just couldn't do it last night. So, I woke up to food sitting out everywhere, dirty dishes in the sink, and a very gross dirty floor Thank God I don't have to work today!!! I also let Stephanie skip school today - I wanted her to sleep in after a very busy day yesterday.

The party itself was alot of fun!!! Between our house and our neighbors house (we consider them a joint party) we had around 50-60 people here. Everyone was outside playing lots of games, swimming, and having a great time!!! The fireworks the guys did were amazing this year. Kevin has a friend who is licensed pyrotechnic, and Kevin and our neighbor get all their fireworks from him. The guys got a lot of applause after the fireworks were over

Good morning everyone!!!

I'm tired this morning after being up late studying. The material we are covering now is all about financing - I hate financing!!! I hated my finance classes in college, and I still hate them today. It makes it hard to learn the material when you have no interest in the material. I have to make myself interested though, because I know I need to know about this stuff. So I am going to start chanting - I LOVE FINANCING, I LOVE FINANCING, I LOVE FINANCING!!!

Happy Saturday everyone!!!!

Yesterday we went to the beach, and it was a perfect day to go there!!! It wasn't to hot, it wasn't to busy, and the girls had a blast!!!! Then we came home and swam in the pool for awhile, because the lake was to cold for me



Then last night Kevin and I watched the movie Fun With Dick and Jane. I give it a . It was a fun movie!!!

Fun with Dick and Jane was a very cute movie! DH and I watched it about a month ago. I don't know why it didn't get better reviews when it was at the movies.

Have a great Saturday! We have a couples shower for another FF to attend this evening. Other than that, I'm not doing nuttin!

Haven't been on for a while. I need to go back and catch up on everything that's been going on!

Am_I_There_Yet - Nice to see you! I love the pic of the furry human!!

I went to the cardiologist Thursday and got a good report. I was so scared and nervous that something was going to be wrong. Thanks for all the prayers and pixie dust!!! I do have to go on the 18th for for a stress test but I'm not too concerned about it, it sounded more just routine since I want to start an exercise regimine.

Am_I_There_Yet - So good to see you!!!! You need to come here more often and chat, we always would love to have you!!! How is everything with your Golden Retriever? I read your post about something being wrong with his/her tail after you brought him/her home from the vets office (I think that's where he/she was ). I hope everything is okay with your dog - please let us know!!

I hope everything is okay with your dog - please let us know!!

She's much better now, but she's holding her tail to the side still, even when it's at full-mast, as I like to call it. The vet put her on arthritis/anti-inflammatory medicine and it started working by day two, thank goodness.

I think one of the kennel attendants was a little rough with her. It's almost like someone pulled her by her tail. Maybe they couldn't get her out, so they grabbed what they could.

Thanks for asking about her!

I don't know what has been happening with you, but I'm glad you got a good report from the doctor! I have Mitral Valve Prolapse and it scares the you-know-what out of me sometimes!

I wish DH's department would do something like that. All we ever do, is attend a bbq cook-off each year at the county fair.

The last time I went, was the last time I'll ever go. They had Hooter's Girls there serving drinks and I thought that was pretty tasteless for a family event.

My oldest daughter is tranferring to Texas Tech and is moving to Lubbock. We're having a going away party for her today, so I'm sure there will be lots of tears on my part.

I get to see her a few more times before she moves, so I think I'm going to get much worse! She has a great group of friends and our house has always been the hang-out house, so it hit me yesterday that I won't be seeing them hardly anymore either.

And to think in two years my youngest will be gone too.
