Good very sunny Saturday morning!!! :sunny:

I know I said I wasn't going to post this morning - but here I am :teeth:

My day will be very productive again - but that's okay, I like productive!! :thumbsup2 This morning I have Steph's game, then we will come home and I will plant another flat of flowers :flower2: . Then, I'm going to hopefully put Katie down for a nap and clean up all the leaves entangled amoungst the bushes in the backyard, and finish planting the rest of the flowers in the backyard. Then tonight I'm taking the girls out for ice cream, because Stephanie had a fantastic week at school with her behavior :cheer2: - every day her teacher sent a note home saying how "outstanding" she was. Then Stephanie and I are renting Narnia (I hope she doesn't change her mind, she's afraid she will be scared  ). Kevin is out of town again today and tonight, so we are having another girls night :cloud9: .

Have a good day everyone!!!

slo - you are going to be busy!

Jim is at the station today & I have to work until 2pm.Sarah is going to watch James' game and call with an update every inning! Sarah had senior breakfast yesterday. She got an award for best smile. She was very happy! Her graduating class is 500+ so it's pretty neat! :teeth: I will be sending a copy of her certificate to her orthodontist! Emily is at the beach with her friends. I have to work all day & late tomorrow so, Jim will have to skip overtime to be home with James. Sarah & I are going to have a planning session today to finalize our lists of must-see in Europe! I better start packing!!

Your family seemed pretty busy yesterday. Congrats to Sarah for being awarded best smile :teeth: - that's awesome!!! What a wonderful memory for her to have :cloud9:

Sending lots of PD for packing to not be to stressful :wizard: For some reason - packing always stresses me out :confused3

That article was great :lmao: !!! Thanks for showing it to me :) . Kevin gets this magazine, I wonder if the article was in that - I'll have to ask Kevin when he comes home.

Hey my husband is a Kevin too!!!!

Good Monday morning everyone!!! :surfweb:

Today I have my Neurologist appt to get the results of my bloodtest and that EMG test I had. I gotta tell ya - I'm a little nervous to hear these results. My physical therapist also said that she will suggest to him about me having an MRI done on my neck - so we'll talk about that today too.

I tried teaching Stephanie how to rollerblade yesterday. Let me tell you.....it is so hard to teach someone how to rollerblade. The poor thing kept falling down - her butt is going to be so sore today  She didn't seem to discouraged though, she kept trying. I told her that everyone can't rollerblade at first, and it's going to take lots of practice. She'll probably have them back on today after school.

Lisa - What a coincidence that both our hubby's are named Kevin :) Tell us about yourself. Do you have kids? Do you work? We would love to get to know you :)

Karen - How's the packing going?

Well, I gotta run - have a good day everyone!!!

slo - if by packing, you mean actually putting clothes in a suitcase, then the answer is "No, I haven't started packing!". I left my boss a note yesterday asking for Tuesday off since I worked Sat and Sun. Hopefully she'll say yes! I'll keep you posted! Good Luck with the neurologist!

Good morning everyone!!! :surfweb:

My test results at the Neurologist were all good :woohoo: My EMG test showed that I have carpotunnel in both hands, but I can live with that. I was nervous about having a nerve problem in my hands, but I don't. My blood work showed that I don't have Rheumotoid Arthritis or Lupus :woohoo: and my cholestrol is 164 which is an added bonus :yay: He said that I have Raynauds Syndrome not Raynauds Disease. The Disease is caused by very serious problems like the Rheumotoid Arthritis or Lupus. The Syndrome is often caused by unknown things, it's a mystery :confused3 . He's not concerned about my circulation at this point, so he told me to worry.

After we talked about that, we started talking about my headaches and neck pain. He told me that since I feel the physical therapy is not working, he wanted me to have an MRI. This is done in his main office and they were able to fit me in last night, so I went. That went really well, and really fast, it only took 15 minutes :thumbsup2 I took in my Epcot Illuminations/Tapestry of Nations CD to listen to while I was in this tube, and I barely heard it, because the MRI IS SO LOUD!!!!!! I was expecting to lay down and relax for awhile, but no way :sad2: , the first sound almost made me jump out of my skin it was so loud:eek: Oh well, now I know, there's no relaxing during an MRI

With the results of this MRI I will find out if I should continue going to physical therapy, or if I need to have treatment done at a Pain Management place. The treatment would be a shot of something in the neck that goes right into the spine :scared1: The shot doesn't scare me, but the fact that it goes into my spine does :faint: I guess we'll soon fine out.

Idroveallnight - Did your boss give you a day off today? What all do you have planned to do while you are on your trip?

Well, I gotta run - have a good day!!!!

slo - that is wonderful news about your tests! I will keep my fingers crossed about the MRI results! I did get the day off - I had to swap with another nurse. I am going to work a Friday night for her when I get back. I really needed the day, though. Sarah graduates tomorrow. I don't know if I'm happy or sad. I think both! We have a small party planned with the family and then we leave at 6 am on Thursday! We are trying to hit all the big highlights. We have 2 days in London. 3 days in Paris. 1 day at Disneyland Paris (we can't resist). 1 day in Rome. I have been getting calendars ready for Jim on who goes where & when. My sister is going to stay with the kids when Jim is at the station. I just made him dosage lists of meds for the kids! Of course, my kids know their doses and could probably tell Jim his! Well, I must go iron some more!

CONGRATULATIONS SARAH!!!!

Have a great and wonderful trip. I can hardly wait to hear all about it!!!

Good morning and TGIF!!!! :cool1:

Idroveallnight - Your in my thoughts. I hope your first night in Paris was a good one!!!

Hi Everyone!

Just finished catching up on all that I've missed here.

slo - I am so glad that your tests turned out so well. Hope the MRI turns out just as well for you. When will you find out those results?? --- Has Stephanie gotten the hang of rollerblading yet?? I was always a great roller skater so I figured it would be no big deal to switch to rollerblading! :lmao: Boy, was I wrong! I think I'll stick to roller skating.

Idroveallnight - I hope you're having a great trip. Can't wait to hear all about it! Please tell Sarah congratulations on her graduation.

I have been staying super busy. We've had some problems with the school and that has been taking up a lot of our time. Plus, because of Memorial Day weekend I've been putting extra hours in at my second job (at the campground). I'll be working most of the weekend...but that's okay 'cause it's $$$! :teeth:

Hope everyone has a super Memorial Day weekend!

Good Saturday morning!!!! :surfweb:

Kevin put the stairs in our pool yesterday, which means that it's the official start of summer at our house!!!! :sunny: With the weather being so awesome by our house, we'll be able to go swimming this weekend!!!! :cool1: Stephanie is so excited!!!!

Kathy -
slo - I am so glad that your tests turned out so well. Hope the MRI turns out just as well for you. When will you find out those results??
Thanks!!!! I don't get the MRI results until June 9th - it's going to be hard waiting that long!!!! :bored:

Has Stephanie gotten the hang of rollerblading yet??
She doing better everyday :thumbsup2 I'm glad she didn't get discouraged that first day and is continuing to practice on them.

We've had some problems with the school and that has been taking up a lot of our time.
What's going on?

Memorial Day weekend I've been putting extra hours in at my second job (at the campground). I'll be working most of the weekend...but that's okay 'cause it's $$$!
Extra money is always good :woohoo: When I finish this Real Estate School and start that new job, I'm hoping it will give me extra money too :) Don't work to hard this weekend.

Question: How are the boys doing? Are they excited about school almost being out? How is your DD doing? Is she coming home for the summer?

Well, I best be going - we have to go pick up the rest of our patio furniture today. Have a good day!!!!

Oh that sounds so nice! I wish we had a pool. I'm still working on DH for one! :teeth: Maybe someday!

Kathy -

Thanks!!!! I don't get the MRI results until June 9th - it's going to be hard waiting that long!!!! :bored:

I'll be keeping you in my thoughts 'til then!

She doing better everyday :thumbsup2 I'm glad she didn't get discouraged that first day and is continuing to practice on them.

Tell her she's got great determination! If it were me I think my butt would probably "determine" that rollerblading is something I shouldn't do! :lmao:

What's going on?

I saw that you posted on the thread that I had started so you're all caught up on that now. It's been a rough week!

Extra money is always good :woohoo: When I finish this Real Estate School and start that new job, I'm hoping it will give me extra money too :) Don't work to hard this weekend.

How long til you're done with the real estate school??

Question: How are the boys doing? Are they excited about school almost being out? How is your DD doing? Is she coming home for the summer?

Matthew and Andrew are both excited about school being out. Andrew will be graduating from the 8th grade Tuesday night. They have a big ceremony and a reception.

A.J. is not quite as thilled about getting out. He really loves school and he likes the routine. But I'm sure one week out of school and he'll be fine 'cause he likes summertime activities, too!

DD will be home Tuesday for the day for Andrew's graduation but she won't be "home" for the summer. She has her apartment in Charlotte and she'll be working full-time all summer. She's actually looking for a second job, too.

Is Stephanie out of school yet? What will she be doing during the summer??

Thanks again for your support on the other thread! So many people were saying I was overreacting but I just don't think so!

What an awesome day yesterday :sunny: and it looks like it will be another awesome day today :sunny: (for all of us that don't mind the heat that is ;) )

I got my first sunburn yesterday. As goofy as it sounds, it feels so good. Now I really know that it's summer!!!! :cool1: When I go in the pool today, I will have to wear some sunscreen. Speaking of pools - being in the pool was so nice :goodvibes . What a difference a year makes with Katie - last year she wasn't very happy with the big pool, so I had to keep a small kiddie pool filled on the deck for her to play in. This year I put some water-wings on her, and she was alot more confident :thumbsup2 . Speaking of water-wings, thank God she had them on, because at one point she fell into the pool  . She was throwing some floaties in the pool and she lost her footing and fell in. The water-wings did their job and she popped right up, but again, thank God she had them on. I was laying on a float when this happened, and as soon as she fell in, I got off and grabbed her, and I said to her, "Hi there, you decided to come in?" I didn't want to make a big deal out of it and freak her out. She just looked at me, like she was in shock about falling in. I said again, "Were you silly and decided to come in?" She then smiled and said, "Yeah, I want out now." So I put her out and told her to use the stairs next time

Then, last night I put the girls to bed early and watched Brokeback Mountain. Kevin wanted no part of it :sad2: so he went downstairs and watched tv, which was good for him because it was much cooler down there. Have any of you seen this movie? No offense to those of you that liked it, but I was really disappointed. When everyone kept saying it was a love story, I was hoping for somewhat of a happy movie. To me the movie was sorta depressing, it moved slow, and I couldn't stand all the mumbling between the characters. I had to constantly be raising and lowering the volume so I could hear what they were saying :listen: On a scale of a 1 - 10 I personally give it a 6, which is to bad, because I was really hoping for it to be a 10. But, I have found out, that when there's a lot of hype surrounding the movie, I over anticipate how it is going to be, and then I am disappointed

Today Kevin is at The Indy 500 :car: He has been going to this race since he was 13 years old, and he loves it - well, he loves racing!!! He has done the Mario Andretti Racing School once and drove an Indy car 158 mph. He has also done the Richard Petty Experience 4 times and I'm not sure what his top speed was there. This summer he is returning to do the Mario Andretti Racing School again, and he is very excited :cool1: Anyway, about the race, he left this morning at about 3:30am and he won't return until about 6:30 - 7pm, so it's a long day. They get to the parking lot early and are already drinking beer before most of us wake up :drinking1 . I've been to the race 3 times, and it is an amazing experience - it's a sound that can never be duplicated!!

Okay, so whats going on around here?!?!

Kathy - I've been meaning to tell you that I love the new avatar. Very cute!!!
*Happy early graduation to Andrew. Tell him that I said Congradulations :cheer2:
*AJ sounds so sweet :) . I sure hope I get to meet you and your kids someday.
*It's to bad that you won't see your DD much this summer :guilty: It's nice that she's coming for Andrews graduation - your kids sound like they are all really close.
*Stephanie gets out of school on June 6th and she is very excited :cool1: It's to bad that she's not out for very long. She starts summer school on June 15th :guilty: . She a little behind in her reading so her teacher recommended summer school and I said okay. It's only an 1 1/2 every morning, but it's still a bummer for her to go. But, if it helps, that's what matters.
*Your welcome for the support on the other thread - I am totally on your side!!! I just can't get over what happened and I am still mad for you. I would think teachers would be preaching to kids about how not to do this, instead of to do this. Is the teacher young? Not that I should stereotype, but so many younger people just don't get the dangers of internet predators. Even my brother, age 26, who I love dearly, put every piece of personal information on his My Space home page :sad2: When I told him he shouldn't do that, he told me, "I want people I went to highschool with to find me, so I have to put that information down." I told him it was not a good idea, but he doesn't listen - oh well I tried!!! :confused3 I hope everything works out for you with this problem.
*The raccoon story you told me about was on Good Morning America yesterday - it's national news now!!!!

Well, I gotta run!! I need to take the girls today to buy some cheap sandals that they can play outside in and destroy w/o me getting mad at them. It's to bad that we don't live closer together so you and the kids could come over and use the pool. Stephanie would love having other kids to play with. Have a good day!!!!
