Good Saturday morning everyone!!!

Yesterday Katie had a tea party at her daycare and it was so much fun . The teachers made muffins and served iced tea (which most of the kids didn't like and ended up drinking water). Stephanie used to have tea parties when she went to the daycare too, and it's such a nice way to meet some other parents. The parents that I did meet were very very nice people !!!

slo - That is so great about free dining and CRT ressies! When exactly are you going this year?

It looks like maybe things may finally be turning and on the upswing for you! I sure hope so. You deserve it!!

Thanks !!! I am still so excited about getting the free dining and the CRT - I really needed something positive to happen. We will be there Sept. 24 - Sept. 30th. We are also going to be there for MNSSHP this year and I'm really excited about that because we haven't done this before. With Katie being 3 when we are there, it's going to be a really great trip this year!!!

Well, we are off to Destin, FL this weekend for the last cheer competition of the season! The girls are excited about a weekend at the beach.

Have a safe trip How far is this for you? Sending lots and lots of PD for the girls to do great and for you to have lots of sunshine when you are at the beach. I can hardly wait to hear about the weekend when you come back.

Good Sunday morning everyone!!

Everything at my Grandma's went well yesterday. All the furniture is now gone and the house seems so empty . The same people that bought the furniture are also interested in buying her house. If they are serious about this, that would be great, because then we don't have to go through a Realtor - I guess we'll soon see, my mom is going to give them the price this week.

Today, I am going to the mall by myself I haven't bought one thing for the girls Easter baskets and I need to get that done. Kevin is at some FD class , so I'm taking the girls to my MIL's for the afternoon. It's going to be nice to have some time alone

Well we are home! It was about a 2 hour drive. The weather was great. We really had a great time. Both girls' squads took 4th place in their divisions. It was sad - this will be Sarah's last competition ever! I find that I am thinking that alot - last competition, last year in school, last few months at home... I am excited, but sad!

slo - how was the shopping? I haven't done anything for Easter! I hope things go well with the sale of your Grandma's house! The tea party sounds fun! We did a tea party for Emily's birthday one year! All the girls dressed up! It was fun!

Tell the girls that I said congrats on their 4th place in their divison How did Sarah do with this being her last competition? Was she emotional, or not to much? I can imagine that you would be emotional - I get that way too I cryed when Stephanie graduated from daycare I can't even imagine how I will feel when she goes away for college

My shopping went well - I found alot of stuff for their Easter Baskets. I still have to get a movie for each of the girls that I didn't have time to go get yesterday. Stephanie is getting Ice Princess and Katie is getting The Little Einsteins Movie. After I get those items, I am done My heart is not into Easter this year at all, so it was sorta hard to go shopping for the baskets. I would be just fine with Easter coming and going without any celebration this year - but that would not be right either

Today is my Neurologist appt. at 10:30am. I'm so glad it's finally here because I've been wondering what's going to happen with this appointment. I'll have to let you know how it goes.

Good morning everyone!!!!

What a beautiful day yesterday!! When we were eating dinner, I asked Stephanie how school was. She said, "the best part of the day was recess because we didn't have to wear our coats." I thought that was kinda cute.

My new Neurologist is very very nice. He's sending to physical therapy for my neck because I have so many headaches (this is not what I went in for, but the paperwork I filled out asked about headaches and neckpain, which I've had for many many years). When it comes to my hands, he said that this is a problem with my central nervous system and he has to find where the problem lies. So, I have to go get some blood work done to look for many things, one thing being rheumatoid arthritis. Then I have to go for a test where they put electric shocks into my fingertips to test the nerves in my hands and arms (he said it will feel like testing a raw wire or plug - ouch!!!). Then he will put acupuncture (sp?) like needles in different areas of the my neck, arms and back to test for something else (he said that will feel like alot of bee stings ) Thank God I have a pretty high tolerance for pain .

It doesn't sound like fun - but after going through childbirth, I can handle anything!!!!

What are you doing for Easter?

I am having my whole family, both sides, over for dinner. I normally don't mind, but I am just not in the mood for Easter this year It's going to be to sad to not have my Grandma here But, she would not approve of me sulking around . She was the type of person that believed in holding your head up high and not dwell in any sorrows (she was a very very strong woman - my role model).

We are coloring Easter Eggs this afternoon

I'm not working today because Stephanie has a 1/2 day of school. I told Steph that we would do the Easter eggs while Katie is at school. I feel a little bad not including her, but she has become so stubborn about people helping her, that her doing the Easter eggs would become a big battle.

Then tonight, we are off to the mall to see the Easter Bunny.

It will be very interesting to see if Katie will sit on his lap because she wouldn't sit on Santa's lap last year.

I didn't have to do much egg dying - Stephanie did a great job all by herself

We had great success with the Easter Bunny last night Katie actually sat on his lap She wouldn't have any part of Santa last year, so I figured she would be the same way with Easter Bunny. I wish I had a scanner, so I could show you the picture - the girls looked really cute!!!

Do you have to work today? I do It's going to be beautiful outside today, and I would love to stay home, especially because I know it's going to be super slow at work today. Oh well !!!

We will be having a fairly laid back day. I plan to cook all day. (Better get started soon). We're eating late today, not until 5:30! A friend of ours is coming for dinner with his son (who is 20). His wife and their other son had to make a trip to FL for some family stuff. Hate that they're apart for a holiday but at least half of them can come here and be with "family." (Their boys call me "Mom2".)

Good Monday morning everyone!!!!

Did everyone have a nice Easter? Ours was very nice . I was really concerned that we would all be really sad w/o my Grandma, but we were all strong and had a great evening (she would have been very proud of us).

Today I have off work because Stephanie has no school today. She has been asking me for many many months when her and I can go shopping to the mall, just the 2 of us. We used to do this alot before Katie was born, and I didn't realize how much she enjoyed it. So, we are going to do that today. It's a perfect time for us to go because she needs some new clothes for Spring.

Later today I start my physical therapy for my neck. I sure hope this therapy isn't one of those deals where you feel worse before you feel better I guess I will soon find out.

A friend of ours is coming for dinner with his son (who is 20). His wife and their other son had to make a trip to FL for some family stuff.

Good morning everyone!!!!

Stephanie and I had so much fun at the mall yesterday!!! We shopped all day and had lunch in the food court (she loves to eat there ) When it came to her clothes, I let her pick out everything herself (under my approval of course). Then when she had to try things on, she insisted on trying everything all by herself. So, I pulled up a chair and waited for her to come out and show me each outfit - it was really nice. The days of crouching down and helping her put thing on and off are over (two smilies for that one).

Then late afternoon yesterday, I had my first physical therapy. I'm a little sore today, but I do believe that this is going to help my headaches. The therapist is really really nice too, and I hope she helps me alot because I really enjoyed talking with her.

I'm here!! It's been crazy around here! One of my dad's Canadian cousins died last week so he & mom flew to Canada for the funeral. They will be home Wednesday. Easter was fun. Sunday night our dog (Popo) died. James was playing basketball and the goal fell over & landed on his neck. It was horrible. We had the funeral yesterday before work. The back yard just isn't the same!

I was so glad to see your post yesterday because I was truly starting to get worried about you. I decided that if I didn't hear from you by Friday, that I was going to mail you a note.

I am so sorry to hear about Popo I understand the pain your family is going through, because I lost my beloved dog unexpectadly almost 4 years ago and I was devostated. The loss of a pet is just terrible How is James doing? I hope he's not blaming himself - many hugs to him and many hugs to you and the rest of your family

I wish we lived closer because then I could say, "If there's anything I can do, please let me know." But, since we live far apart, please know that I'm thinking about you and your family
