polly p - sounds like our kids are alot alike! My DS 8 plays football (practice all week with games on Sat) and DD 10 cheers for his team and cheers on an Allster squad. DD 17 cheers Allstars and helps me coach at the park. It really is a busy schedule!


Hope everyone is having a great weekend! I just finished up my week of nights so I will be getting back to normal now!!

eeyoresmountainpals - aren't ya'll getting close to your next trip? We amy try to go over Mardi Gras break! We are going to do our make up from the hurricane over Christmas & at the end of the year so we get to keep the week off at Mardi Gras.

eeyoremountainplas - I wish we could go at Christmas so we could see the decorations! We will go over Mardi Gras - which is at the end of February this year! Where do ya'll stay when you go? We've stayed alot of places. We stayed at the Pop Century last time.

Idroveallnight ~ Ooops, I misunderstood you. When you said you were going to "make-up" I was thinking you were making up a trip that you had missed. My mistake!

We stay at POLY. Right now I'm a little nervous because we always stay in the Hawaii building and they just closed it for rehab. It's supposed to be reopened by 10/11 but that's less than two weeks before our trip and you know how things usually run over. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

So how is the Poly? We have never stayed there. We have stayed at the Contemporary a couple of times, Fort Wilderness, etc... I just think the has Poly has a really cool theme! Is it great???

Sorry I didn't answer you sooner! The Poly is great. My DH and our DSs don't want to stay anywhere else! I wouldn't mind GF or Contemporary but they won't hear of it! We stayed at the Contemporary several times many years ago and liked it but we just seem to like the POLY better. We stay concierge and the boys just love that. It's not something that we're used to (being spoiled like that) and it's just nice to feel pampered once in a while!

We're now at 28 days and counting!

Wonder how slo's trip is going? I hope they're having a great time!

HELLO --- I'M HOME!!!!


We just got home last night from one of our best WDW trips ever!!! We had lots of fun, we didn't rush to much, and we just took it easy - it was great!!!

eeyoresmountainpals - it you didn't get the postcards yet, you will soon because they were mailed on Wednesday. I had Mickey Mouse sign them at Chef Mickey's

Here's my vacation reviews with 5 stars - 5 being the best!!!

Contemporary Concierge - * (thumbs down, we are going back to the Poly)
1900 Park Faire for dinner - ** (didn't love the food & characters were rushed)
Crystal Palace for breakfast - **** (love this place)
Kona Cafe for dinner - **** (good food)
Chef Mickey's for breakfast - **** (food is okay but ***** for fun!!!)
Concourse Steakhouse for dinner - **** (great fillet!!)
'Ohanas for dinner - **** (good food, I took pictures of the changes)
Kona Cafe for breakfast - ***** (love my Tonga Toast!!)
Liberty Tree Tavern - ***** (this is my new favorite restaurant)
Princess Storybook breakfast - *** (food was okay & characters were rushed)
Biergarten for dinner - **** (food was okay and lots of fun!!)
Concourse Steakhouse for breakfast - **** (good food)

So, I hope everyone here is doing well. I've got a lot to do today - especially laundry!!! As sad as it is to leave WDW, it's always good to come home.

I took over 600 pictures while we are gone and I'm going to show you guys every one of them!!! - just kidding!! I will post some soon though as soon as I get them onto the computer.

I'm so glad you're back home safely. Missed you around here.

Matthew and A.J. got their postcards Friday. Andrew's is probably still out there in USPS la-la land somewhere! Matthew's teasing Andrew that he must have done something to Mickey Mouse last time we were there to make Mickey not like him! Thanks for taking the time to send them!

Thanks for your trip report (thus far). Still want to hear more. But your restaraunt review helps us in our planning! We check in four weeks from today!

Start posting those pics! I'm ready for all 600 of them!

Here I am girls for some reason I had no idea that there were new postings I had to see the thread onthe front page of the CB I wonder why it stoped letting me knwo we were alive and posting over here.

How was Ohannas I will be in WDW with RICKINNYC in 1 month YEAH !!!! We were thinking of eating there but I was worried about the changes since I had never been there I was going off what others had to say about it .

How is everyone ? DH are all doign well I hope ....

Mine is working YEAH for me the WHOLE bed for me . He is teaching a SCUBA class at his extra job for 3 days this week when he is off so I guess our pool will be a little green again ....

Mad4Mickey - Hi!! and how's everything with you? How's Derick doing? So, you are going to the World in a month - did you know that ohanafamily and RRBB are also going to be there in a month? Maybe you guys will be there at the same time. Were you affected at all by Hurricane Rita? I'm not sure where in Texas you exactly live - I guess I could look at a map, but I haven't Everyone here is doing great, thanks for asking - BabyKate has actually stayed healthy for awhile now !!! Also, 'Ohanas was great as it is every year - you should try it!! I took some pictures of the food changes and I will post them on here soon - I'll PM you when I do so you know that they are here in case your subscription is still not working for you. I really think people here on the Dis are blowing these changes at 'Ohanas way out of proportion - they didn't change that much at all. We eat there every year and we welcome the change so the restaurant doesn't get boring.

Good morning, slo! Cancel the carrier pigeons! Andrew's postcard arrived yesterday. He was so thrilled. He really tried to downplay his disappointment Saturday (since he's a big kid! ) but I could tell. And then yesterday the smile on his face was priceless. All the boys have their postcards taped to their bedroom doors now! Thanks again so much!!!!
