I can happily say.......

(thanks to my DIS friend Wally)

I have my packing almost done, and the only thing I have to do today is pack our carry-on bags, which is sometimes the most challenging. The carry-ons are basically the girls entertainment bags, and naturally they want to take everything

Then after that I'm going to do some house cleaning, and then we are ready to go!!! I don't leave until tomorrow at approx 12 noon, so I will be posting one more time before I leave.

I just found out yesterday that Katie, has an impacted colon :guilty: Her diet has to be totally changed and she is no longer allowed to have any milk, cheese, and pasta. This is all she eats. She doesn't like meat and most vegtables. She doesn't even like fresh fruit. This vacation will be very difficult at meal time because she normally eats mac & cheese or grilled cheese at restaurants. Oh well, I guess we'll have to take each meal as it comes  Then when we get home, or sooner if I feel I have to, I need to start giving her a mediciane that will help empty out her colon. She has to be on this mediciane for 4 weeks (that's how long her colon will take to empty out). I have a feeling this will be a long 4 weeks. Wish me luck!!!

Well, I best go get Steph up for school :teacher: . I'll still post tomorrow because we aren't leaving until 12 noon. Have a good day today everyone!!

So sorry about Katie. :guilty: Is it causing her alot of pain? I sure hope not!! Thankfully there is a huge variety of foods in WDW...hopefully you won't have too much trouble finding things for her to eat.

Goodbye my friends!!!!

I'm off to visit....

We are packed and ready to go!! :thumbsup2
The girls each have a DVD player with headphones, so they should hopefully be happy on the plane. They each (me too   ) has a treat bag to keep their tummies happy and all I need is water once we are on the plane.

For the first time ever I didn't go crazy with the packing which is nice (I'm really proud of myself). Last year we had a hard time fitting all the luggage in our rental car  (an Explorer). We shouldn't have a hard time this year. :)

The girls are so excited, I can't even begin to explain the excitement :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc This is going to be our first ever MNSSHP and we are going to have so much fun!!!

My DH has been a VFF for 10 years. He dedicates every 5th weekend to be on call and can't leave our town. He also responds everytime their is a call and he is home, regardless if he is on call or not. He also works his full time job in our town so he also leaves his work to respond. My DS's are so proud of dad. They too want to be ff's someday.

 WELCOME!!!!!

My DH is a full time firefighter in Toronto and also volunteers in our home town. He LOVES everything about the job!!!

Talk to you soon!!

Lisa :teeth:

I forgot to tell you guys about my DS18!! When we got home from WDW he hands me this folded up piece of paper....I said "What's this?". :confused3 .."Just read it" he says while walking away...anyhoo, I open it up and he has graduated WITH HONOURS!!!!!! Up here, you need to maintain a minimum average of 85 throughout the 4 years of high school in order to qualify!!!!!! :thumbsup2

I was soooo proud and...yep..I cried!!!

eeyore - thanks! I think the boys (meaning my DH & DS ) are going to be fine! You can't learn to be a good loser if you never lose, right?

How true. I remember a teacher telling me something similar a few years back. I went back to college about 6 years ago and with four kids and a job I maintained a 4.0 average. (Still proud of that! :teeth: ) The second year I was really struggling with a class and I told that teacher I really hated that I might lose my 4.0 average. She told me a couple years down the road I was not going to remember when I got a B instead of an A, so I might as well lose the 4.0 average and get it over with. That would be the only way I could handle it and learn from the whole thing. She was the best teacher I had ever had!

So I'm sure your DS will get over it and learn!!!! It's still a hard thing to do though!

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: WHAT EXCITING NEWS!!!

Congratulations! That is such great news. He should be very proud of himself and I know you're very proud of him!

lbelle - congratulations to your DS! That is awesome!!

eeyore - DS is great! Kids bounce back quickly! He's ready for Saturday's game!

Hi everyone! Just stopping by for a quick hello!

Today is my birthday and I had a very nice day! DH took me to Johnson City (TN) to Red Lobster for their endless shrimp special. Mmmmmmm! When we got home Matthew wanted to fix dinner and a cake. He made macaroni and cheese and a peach cake!!!

DH had a fire meeting tonight. They're working on a large scale mock disaster that will be held on October 26th. I'm only going to photograph and possibly film the incident so I don't need to attend tonight. So the boys and I have had a quiet evening watching tv.

Hope everyone has a nice Friday tomorrow!!!

Happy (belated  ) Birthday to you!!!!! :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :cheer2:

Sounds like you had a great meal!!! :thumbsup2 Peach cake....yummy!!!

HONEY, I'M HOME!!!! :teeth:

As much fun as we always have, it's always good to come home!!!! :goodvibes

We had a great time with the different activities we did this trip. We were not to happy with the HIGH crowds that were there though :sad2: In the 6 years we have been taking the kids in September, this is the highest we have ever seen the crowds. What's even more of a bummer, is we talked to CM's that said the week prior to us being there, it was dead :guilty: I will do a brief trip report later when I have more time.

Kevin and I did decide this trip that this is our last year staying on property. His parents have a time share (condo) a stone's throw away from WDW and we are going to start using that. The condo has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a living room, kitchen, and it would only cost us $200 for the whole time we are there. Plus, it would give us a lot more room. We were starting to feel very confined in our room. I'm looking forward to that next trip.

So what's new around here?

KATHY!!!

Well, I gotta run and start unpacking. There is so much dirty laundry, it's making my head spin

Have a good day and talk to you later.

Good Monday morning everyone!!! :surfweb:

Hey everyone, take a look at my new ticker :teeth: We are going back to WDW January 5, 2007 for an adults only trip :woohoo: :yay: Kevins best friend is running the half marathon, and we are going to support him :) We are going to have so much fun w/o the kids (that sounds terrible I know, but we will). We are going to have dinner at California Grill the first night (just Kevin and I) and then one night the 3 of us are going to hang out at Pleasure Island all night. There's a lot of things in the parks that we are looking forward to doing also, that we don't do with the girls. It's going to be a fun long weekend :cool1:

Yesterday was a busy day doing lots and lots of laundry  But that''s okay, I got us totally unpacked and all the luggage is already back up in the attic :thumbsup2

Kevin also got all my Halloween decorations down from the attic yesterday, so I can start putting all those up this week. I really do love Halloween - it's a fun holiday!!!! :teeth:

Thanks to everyone that welcomed me home :grouphug: I missed you guys while I was gone.

I haven't start a trip report yet, but I will as soon as possible. Kevin put all the pictures on CD's - you want to guess how many CD's?? Here's the answer - 6  Kevin was like the poveratsie (sp?) when the girls were with the characters. He has a really good camera that takes pictures really fast. So all you heard from him was click, click, click, click. The characters were laughing :rotfl: because he would take like 6 pictures with every character

Well, I gotta run and get ready for work and get Steph up for school. Have a good day today everyone!!!

Good Tuesday morning everyone!!!
