(Warning... could make you )

In the creases behind each of my ears (although worse on the right side), I have this dry patch of skin.

It's really not a dry patch of skin, but rather, an area that is more like an "open crack" in the crease (from perhaps dry skin?) that emits a clear, odorless fluid that in turn crusts. If I pick the crusts off, the fluids emits again, and then crusts over again. It DOES NOT itch, hurt, anything.

I've had it for about 6 months... I have tried about 15 different hair products in that time, I've worn my hair up and down... I put on Neosporin, Vaseline, Hydrocortisone... it still comes back daily.

Does anyone have any idea what it could be or how I could get rid of it? I DO plan on going to my dermatologist, but in the meantime...

Hmmm, I would definately see a dermatologist. It might be intertrigo which results when there is a lack of airflow to an area. Zinc ozide is used a lot on that problem to dry things out. Did you switch shampoos or lotions or something that might have cause an allergy? I hope that it is something that is easy to fix and no more long term like psoriasis or eczema. Good luck and hope it heals soon!
